I was banned for betraying in griffball? Don’t get me the wrong the Game mode itself is a lot of fun! But accidental betraying is a major problem. Especially being banned for this. I’ve been waiting for an hour and I’m still banned. Now I’m pretty sure if/when I get un banned I’ll be able to play griffball. Is there any way I can get unbanned for this?

It’s those who betray on purpose. This guy kept swording me for no reason.

I only quit on games where the lag is to so bad that I can’t be of any use to the team, and infact make it worse, as I am being killed a lot because of the delay in what I am seeing and what the Halo servers are doing. It’s the number one most frustrating situation to be in. we have all had it surely, when the other players are jumping back and forward over the whole map glitching and you can’t get the target on them then you are dead… the glitchy player killed you by assassination from the other side of the room!?! so I quit and now get banned. 
I do not think this is a fair punishment because sometimes people accidentally betray people on their team

They can’t be banned for accidentally betraying someone I don’t think.
granted, I’ve only my own experiences to go from.
I regularly accidentally betray team mates, I also regularly accidentally suicide (after a few close together I’ll not try sneaky jumps on fathom for a while lol)
i also have very poor internet speeds where I live.
i have yet to face one second of a ban from Halo5
i dont know if it’s a coincidence but I don’t remember quitting any games.

I constantly get banned due to network issues (M.S. 343! notwerx would be better). Recently I was banned for nearly 40 hours then just as that was about to run out a new 87 hour one pops up. The stupid thing is the only time anyone voluntarily leaves is because the game doesn’t work and is unplayable. I bet when their computer freezes they turn it off and on again not just sit starting at it because they know its Microshaft and its borked. Even worse when you haven’t even left and have sat staring at the end of game computer says fkt if I know what the score was working icon, then get the NETWORK HASN’T GOT A CLUE OR A CHANCE BUT WE WILL JUST BAN YOU FOR IT ANYWAY MESSAGES. Well done even the NETWORK knows it wasn’t us but the 343! Code says blame the users. This is only a small part of the reason why life long fans of halo now refuse to touch it with a remotely operated stick. So next ‘business meeting’ stick that on your flow chart of expected sales.

I spent weeks of my life sending emails to Microshaft with ideas like variable frame rates and for halo 4 I begged for team killing to be turned off as you could do it on forge, and a couple of richard craniums per game could destroy it for everyone. They did it, it worked after the patches for obvious errors and transformed the game. Did the sales forecast flow chart REALLY say that team killing would get you THAT MANY extra sales along with dilution of halo with every other games crap that we hated so only played halo which is now not halo because its got all the crap from other games in it. Like teams of wealthy people starting a multi player game with powerful weapons, tanks, armour abilities and perks against life long fans with less cash starting naked and defenceless ?. You are loosing your bread and butter to gain a pickle.

This is complete trash. Quit one game and I can’t play for 3 hours. I guess that gives me enough time to take a poo on this game in the toilet and go buy some other game. Thanks for nothing Halo 5 !!! Won’t be buying another one of your titles.
What about glitches, I got banned once for an hour after my gmae quit and disconnected, I had yet to leave any game, but the moment the game glitched I got banned

That’s the issue I keep having, I win and I get banned, plus I get no req points, Pls fix 343
Just checked my service record, the game is reporting DNFs on matches that I won! Combined with the dnf an hour ago my first ban I got an hour. Yay
I often will get banned immediately after completing a match. I didn’t quit or anything but as soon as I the match ends I am booted from the score screen then banned for quitting. I have had a 9 hour ban! Can someone help me sort out this issue? It really sucks because sometimes I get no credit for my match I just played!
Quitting bans are a bit too much, IMO. The goal shouldn’t be to increase ban times to reduce cheating because people will always quit no matter what for many reasons.
The real goal should be to replace quitting teammates via a join in session for all playlists. In addition, offer a ton of REQ point jackpots for staying in multiple sessions without quitting.
Unbelievable, the weekend arrives and I was planning on playing with a ton of friends tonight, but I got banned after playing CTF in a game which I completely finished. Right after the game, I got the notification that I was banned. My ban lasts for 23 hours… My 10 year old son was one before I played the match of CTF and he said had to go feed our dog and may have been kicked for idling when he was playing. Now that this has happened, my nights ruined as well as my ten friends that probably won’t be playing now either.
I had a problem like this recently and Bravo was able to resolve it. If you can fix this tonight for all of us and investigate into the real issue/glitch? as to why I was banned, my friends and I would greatly appreciate it.

The banning system needs to be greatly overhauled. 2 weeks ago, I quit 2 matches 45 minutes apart and I had been playing for a solid 3 hours by that point. It got me banned. Tonight, I had been playing for over an hour and quit one match because the other team was breaking the boundaries of the map. Immediately banned. I know it’s a system to discourage people from quitting matches often, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Both times I quit, I was then able to play an entire match before it actually banned me.
