I am so dissapointed in being banned 3 separate times this morning because of losing connection to the server. I must have tried about 12 games of Warzone Firefight and have been able to see the end of 2 of them. Every other time I have “lost my connection to the server”.

I have checked my internet connection and there has been no disconnects and this has been the first time this connection issue has been a problem. If this is what its going to be like with Halo 5 now due to Warzone Firefight I wont be able to play anymore. Not because I dont want to, but because your systems are so unreliable that i will get disconnected and banned again.

Meanwhile, I now have 2 hours to wait before I can play again. Ppor show guys, poor show.

5 DNFs in your last 20 Arena games. 7 DNFs in your last 20 Warzone games. I’m guessing these contributed to your ban.
And just so you know, DNF doesn’t necessarily mean quit. If you are experiencing trouble maintaining a stable connection to Halo, consider troubleshooting your internet setup.

5DNF games out of every match… I know it sucks but your gonna have to wait it out. It should be a small one.

What about 1v4 or 2v4 it shouldn’t affect me if I quit cuz I have no team. Like my kd and win loose ratio is so messed up from being forced to stay in games where I’m getting spawn killed , 3 to 1 br’d or just pooped on from power weapons, like honestly there are so many flaws to this game half the time it’s not even fun to play

So many people complaining about being banned unfairly and then you notice certain ones pretending they’re innocent when they’ve quit every 2nd 3rd match.
My internet loses its connection too maybe once every couple days even if its once every day that’s what 1 disconnection every so many matches doubt they ban you for that. Probably a ban when you get disconnected every couple match.

People like these are making ot worse for the honest people who are genuinely banned unfairly.

If it is your first ban it shouldn’t last long. You can be banned for Betraying, AFKING, Quitting, or having a poor connection.

Poor connection was on the list of offences since before the game was launched. 343 were up front with the conditions that could result in bans. You should look to trying to improve your connection if that is the issue. Some people find that going wired helps. You seem to be attempting to anthropomorphize an automated system.

I sympathize, but particularly in the 2 v 4 you just made things a lot worse for your teammate. Try hiding.

Poor connection is on the list of offences that warrant a ban. It’s pretty easy to force a lag out if you want too.

Look, I didn’t mind getting banned about 3 weeks ago because my wifi is -Yoink- and logs me out of games sometimes. But I recently logged on today and it still says I’m banned from matchmaking. I’m a honest player and rarely ever quit during a match but being banned for 3 weeks for having shoty wifi is ridiculous. I saw 3 DNFs in your last 20 Arena games. I’m guessing that the 3 day ban period (if it is actually 3 days) would be because you’ve gotten previous DNF-related bans. 3-day bans don’t get handed out to first offenders.

I find myself playing this game less and less every day. I haven’t played Halo 5 since Overwatch came out, but decided to play Halo 5 to try out the new update. I was playing with my friend on team doubles and I get randomly disconnected from the game. I get a 10 minute ban because OF A FREAKING DISCONNECT.

Thats just not right. I never been banned before because of this and all of a sudden I get banned for something that I had no control over? Yeah, I totally want to go back and play some more games after that (sarcasm).

I stopped playing after that and I don’t think that I will return if this is the way it’s going to be; which is fine by me tbh since I’ve been having a lot more fun with Overwatch.

Why does it kick me out. when everything was fine i lost connection and was banned for 20 min. and it said lost connection with halo 5 servers. WTF!

I play earlier today before work got kick out cause of server issues a few times and didn’t get banned. I come home for work amd I’m playing with friends and get kick again in mid game and now I’m banned for 3 hours are you kidding me. I reset my router and it’s not my internet. This is ridiculous even my friends are having problems and are getting banned I have never had this much trouble with this game.
