The * of a DLC playlist

*If you’re a solo player especially, keep it in mind. It’s been this way since Halo 3. A DLC playlist is usually dominated by clans and coordinated teams.

It makes sense, since the clans and diehards are willing to shell out $$ for new maps. The casuals and occasional players, who help fill out the matchmaking profile, generally don’t spend the money.

Since it appears 343 is matching full teams against random teams, you may be paying $10 to get your rear handed to you.

Maybe it’ll be different in Halo 4, with the power that loadouts bring. What do you think?

Eh

protip :
it was the same in H2, H2, Reach and 4.

Where are you getting this? It was not the case in Halo 3. Full teams were matched with full teams, or teams of 3 only.
