Like I’ve said before, I’m new in the system of REQ packs and all of it. But what I have read, the Nightfall armor you can unlock it watching the 5 episodes of Halo Nightfall. But I get lost after that, many people had expressed their problem that the armor is not unlocked after watching it the series. But other says that it will appear on the REQ packs only after watch the series.
That is my question, if you watch the series you automatically unlock the armor and it is added to your collection? Or you only unlock it in future REQ Packs?
You can unlock it by watching nightfall or through req packs. The armor is in the pool so you can get it without watching nightfall
Although the NightFall armor is in the req pool, it would be hard to acquire it since it is a Legendary/Mythic armor set.
You can get Nightfall through Gold Packs; it’s a much more reliable method than watching the series alone.
If I remember correctly after you finish watching the series you’ll be granted two req packs which one will contain the helmet and boosts while the other holds your armor
You could get it through req packs but that would that you ages if your new so your probably better off watching nightfall
You can fast forward through the episodes and it’ll grant you the armor. Sometimes it’ll bug out and you’ll have to go through an episode again.
If you are looking to unlock everything in the req system make sure you buy nothing but silver packs till they refund you two 1500 req point cards instead of unlocks, then start buying gold packs, they will refund two 3000 points req cards once you have everything unlocked. That is the fastest and cheapest req point wise to unlocking everything in the req pool. About the only things not in the req pool is Achilles armor (Spartan company commendations unlock it)… HCS armor and skins which are unlocked by buying HCS team packs, sticker shock skins which was a loot crate exclusive, and then the emblems unlocked via commendations and xp ranking. Also the voices of war announcers is purchase only.
I am SR 145 and i just got the armour and helmet. I have around 23 gold packs left, so maybe that’ll give you an idea of how unlucky you can be with the req system

The Nightfall set was one of my last Mythic unlocks. I got it around Fall.
You should get it very soon from watching it only but if you dont then don’t worry because in my opinion it doesn’t look very good.

More reliable? Watching the TV show unlocked it instantly for me. That seems 100% more reliable.

That’s true, but it’s a pretty easy unlock and the show is pretty good so why not go for it?

Maybe if we combine our luck, in Halo 6 we’ll have better drops.

I have got a question. If you watch the series on your phone dose it work?
I unlocked it by watching the Nightfall series and fast fowarding through all of it
