With Halo 4 releasing this year and an expected 3 years until Halo 5 is released (placing it at 2015 – the same ETA for the neXtbox [speculation, of course]) do you think Halo 4 will be re-released to take advantage of the neXtbox? Graphical upgrade, improved sounds, etc (Halo 4 Anniversary :P).
Or maybe it could be included in a duel-pack along with Halo 5. Any suggestions? Or should Microsoft and 343i just leave it to backwards compatibility. Although, if the neXtbox releases in 2016/17 and Halo 6 releases in 2018 there will be a kind of Halo 3 situation where one of the leading forces behind the Xbox is released two years later. Then, maybe, Microsoft and 343i would get away with releasing a Reclaimer Trilogy pack. Might be nice?

They would have to be extremely fearless to not put it in as it’s a pretty large selling point in all consoles.

I couldn’t agree more. I can see why Halo: Combat Evolved was remade as it was a celebration of ten years of Halo. But I don’t feel we really need any more remakes for the time being. We have a whole new trilogy to focus on and I still want a couple legitimate spin-off games. AND MY DAMN HALO WARS SEQUEL. It would also be nice if Halo Wars played like it did in the first E3 demonstration. I honestly suspect that after Ensemble learnt they were getting closed down by Microsoft they sabotaged the game so it wouldn’t sell as well.

No. Investing money in updating a two year old game that hasn’t even had its sequel released is the kind of risky move that no company would consider for even a second. Halo 4 (depending on its level of success) will probably be similar to Halo 2. People will keep playing it on 360 until they shut the servers down or move to Halo 5 and the next console.
Seeing as to how fine Halo 1 and 2 did on the transaction to 360 for the first couple years, I dont see any reasons to re-sell H4 as a 720 game at launch (which by the way, rumors and specs have pinpointed more of a late 2013 launch-early 2014, not 2015.)
They should just focus their efforts on H5 on the durango.

No. It will be left in the forest to die like a leper child. Plus, theres not that much to do to improve it and why would they improve halo 4 when they are releasing halo 5?
