So the news has dropped that 343 is uppong the xp for the first few games of the day, guarnteeing a player can progress one level per day.

I understand people want to be able to unlock things and want a reasonable return of xp based on their style of play/ how well they did but there is going to be a new rant in a few short weeks at this pace.

Nothing else to unlock.

So the season pass was extended until May 2022, most players (even the casual like me) will unlock it all before then and then everyone will be moaning that there is nothing to unlock apart from the “crappy weekly challenges” or the events that they say “but I dont want that armour/item/shading/colouring”

Im not saying that how 343i managed the progress was the best way of doing it with only gaining xp from challenges, Im just lamenting the fact that this will be the next big thing to moan about.

At the previous rate of progression, I wasn’t gonna look like I wanted to until about January. Now it’ll be before Christmas. I’m happy.

It’s another fix for a system that is already broken at it’s core, the battle pass is the only path of progression in the game so after your 7 games you go back to the cracks this system has

If they’re going to stick with challenge-only progression then it should be 100xp per match & 50xp per PVP win, you’re not going to incentive anything other than people spamming the bot playlist with this system if you leave it as it is.

There are those three other events coming aside from the battle pass unlocks so hopefully this new experience system they’re implementing will have some impact on the progression of those as well.
