For those that might have missed it, there’s a new post that covers what we should expect to see in the next flight
<MCC Dev Update>.
Unlike the Xbox flight, this one won’t be PvP only. Instead it will offer the following assuming no alterations are made before it launches:
- Noble Actual and Winter Contingency for Campaign - Firefight on Beachhead, Corvette, and Holdout - Multiplayer matchmaking on Countdown, Powerhouse, Zealot, Tempest, Breakpoint, and Ridgeline(See the aforementioned post for more details)
We don’t have a date yet but it’s apparently pretty close so there’s a good reason to be stoked.
Very cheeky; looks like they’re going to release this around the time of the latest COD launch.
Basically this is the last flight before release?

Last planned flight. They might release more for whatever reason but I don’t think it’s very likely.

Considering how much progress 343’s been making in the previous flights, I really doubt they’d need any more flights after this one.
Ordered in a 21:9 monitor, if it gets here it before the flight, it would be interesting to see the state of ultrawide support

Ultra wide is just too wide. I’m content with a 27 in.
Does anyone know if Armor Customization will be testable on this flight? If its going to be the last flight before Reach releases, they should test it in this flight now.

They haven’t stated that it will or won’t be. It would make sense to include it considering how far along the game’s development is, but if it will be included that’s quite a big thing to omit from the development update.

I get where you are coming from, but personally I’ve been using a 32 inch for a while and really liked it, so I figured I’d try to go even W I D E R. What the devs have posted so far is very promising.
thanks for filling me in! i am too hype about this next flight! if i get in anyway fingers crossed
I’m excited; I hope I get in.
Hoping for the next flight to start this week! I also hope to get an invite as the content available in this one is going to epic! crosses fingers
Pure excitement, doubt that a flight would go live mid week… but I have three more days left of vacation from work.
I’ll play every moment I could were I invited for this wave.

Actually, the last flight for PvP on Xbox One went live on a Wednesday (Oct 2):

I think 343 just releases flights when they’re ready, regardless of the day of week.
Looks great, hopefully I will get an invite.
how will we know if we got an invite to the flight?

Invitations will be sent to your Insider email address (check your Halo Insider Profile <Link> if you’re not sure which it is) shortly before the flight launches. You need to have a verified email address, otherwise you won’t receive it.

In addition to the previous post, one of the devs usually makes an announcement about it. So far, it’s usually been Postums on his Twitter, so you’ll want to keep an eye on that.
