What does everyone reckon, are we going to see one more map pack before Halo 4 or have we got all we’re going to get?
Have 343 specifically stated anywhere that there will be another map pack or not?
We got 13 DLC maps for Halo 3, at the moment Reach has 11 multiplayer maps and 2 Firefight maps but it seems odd that 343 would leave the gamerscore at 1700 and not 1750.
Before someone points out that 343 will be busy making Halo 4 don’t forget that it was Certain Affinity who made the Defiant map pack and not 343.
Maybe a better question to ask would be if anyone wants another map pack, i dont know the figures, but im fairly sure they havent sold nearly as well as Halo 3 and 343 seem uncapable of making more playlists required to have all DLC like Bungie did.
Side note: anyone think it strange that the Noble map pack (created by Bungie) was called Noble 1, at the time i kinda expected there was going to be 5/6 map packs each one named after a member of Noble team.
And at the moment, the way that they are treating DLC, I hope they don’t. I don’t want to have to pay for something that I’ll never be able to play properly. Honestly if they made most playlists ‘DLC required’ then you’d make everyone happy.

How would they make non-DLC users happy with this change?
That’s just lowering the population as some people for legitimate reasons can’t buy the map packs.
The obvious answer would be to make the Noble map pack free and reduce the Defiant map pack to 600 microsoft points.
Then make every playlist require the Noble map pack and recommend the Defiant map pack for all of them.
Bungie did it for Halo 3 I cant understand why 343/Microsoft aren’t doing it, by making the Noble map pack free more people will play the game and then may want to buy the defiant map pack as well.

Microsoft = Greedy
343I = Microsoft Halo branch
That should clear things up. I mean it’s a good idea but again it’s Microsoft.
