I’ve been wondering for a while now if 343 will continue to collaborate with Marvel on Halo comics. I have always liked the Halo comic installments in the story, and hope they continue, since there has been no news on future Halo comics recently. Really, there are so many ideas they could have for comics, and so many directions, too. I actually feel that a comic revolving around the Ur-Didact after Halo 4 (showing his fate, if he survived) would be really cool. I do hope 343 and Marvel will collaborate on more Halo comics in the future. I guess will have to wait and see, but what do you think? Should 343 continue to work with Marvel on more Halo comics?
I think they should do more comics, mostly because that’s another medium that adds to the universe, and I’m all for expansion, especially in Halo’s universe.
Now, if they were to do more comics…I’d expect another adaptation of a novel perhaps, but I just don’t know what it’d be.
I’d love to see something with Black Team though, maybe how they and other Spartan-IIs integrated into the Spartan-IV program, if at all.
Any medium would be fine for me, but I’d love to continue the Halo Wars story. It’s terribly obvious at this point that there won’t be a game to follow up on that, so a comic series to show us what caused Serina to wake the captain would be much appreciated by me. There is plenty of fresh ground that could be covered, but I want some of the loose ends tied off.

This^ or a continuation of Spartan black teams story. And what about gray team, we havent heard from them since Cole protocol, so many options.
I’m thinking they may have shelved that whole aspect of Halo for a while. Not to say they wont return but I think they’re more focussed on books and games at the moment. They’re still finding their footings and comics can be an awkward medium to work with due to artist’s interpretations and the relatively brief runs of each Halo comic series. Once they’ve settled in a little more then perhaps they’ll return to the comics.
How about a comic centred around the Ur-Didact? Not necessarily a continuation of his story, but something that will bridge the gaps between Halo 4 and the Forerunner Saga. The main premise would be really simple. It would be set during his imprisonment on Requeim, over the grand course of a 100,000 years when the galaxy was recovering from the Halo array. We’ll get to see segments detailing the Didact’s memories, opinions, and motivasions.
The Didact is an interesting character who has witnessed a lot throughout 10,000 years. I’d love to see some comic book interpretations/explanations of the Human-Foreunner wars, his relationship with the Librarian, his rivialry with Faber, how he was freed from exile, how he began composing humans, as well his imprisonment on Requiem. And these are valuable questions which could be answered for us.
We need another but if it does happen it should open up with one character reading a spider man comic book for no apparent reason. (I.E if it revolves around ODST type guys)
