10 dollars for a only 3 voices and can’t be unlocked with req points
Welcome to last week…
Yessir…but it might be worth it just to not have to listen to Sarah Palmer yap the whole time
Ten $ for a purely cosmetic and fully optional voice pack is fine by me. Let me know when they start charging us for the new maps, then I’ll start griping.
Not sure if I’ll buy them. Still I hope reqs and these will get MS enough money so they won’t return selling map packs etc.

Yeah, I’m pretty much through with premium map packs. The REQ MT’s can stay as long as they’re keeping the maps and stuff free of charge. Never, ever want to go back to those days, and the people demanding that the MT’s leave surely aren’t remembering those times when you could never play on a DLC map because some guy in the lobby had refused to buy them and so denied the entire group the chance to play on them. Really, really don’t want to go through that again.
I mean voive actors are not cheep, especially when there is a voice actor strike… welcome to the world of reality

The Grunt is amazing.
“You now have a fortress… all to yourself!”
“The bad team is winning! Maybe that means you are the bad team?”
“You captured the West Armory, the best armory!”
“PREPARE FOR THE REQ-IEST REQS THAT YOU HAVE EVER REQ’D! LEEEEVEL NINE REQS AVAILABLE!”
I never purchase stuff in game. This, I gladly purchased
The grunt is great going to try exuberant witness out now

Yeah, it’s a tricky trade-off. I certainly don’t like microtransactions (Halo 5 has done it okay … but it’s still pretty icky). But I sure as hell didn’t like dividing the population between the haves and the have-nots with the paid DLC.

I want to hear his line for “Prepare for Gruntpocolypse” in Firefight.
Worth it IMO. The grunt’s lines are perfect.

Choose your poison, and choose it wisely. I feel they took the lesser of the two evils here, and definitely didn’t make it as invasive as they could have. Imagine if anything of Legendary rarity (Hannibals, etc) were only available in Premium packs? Many, many other games with MT’s would do that, Halo 5 didn’t.
It’s not the best thing ever, but it sure as -yoink- isn’t as bad as it could have been. For that I am thankful.
Worth it simply for the fact I can use a voice other than Sarah Palmer. The announcer voice will be missed though. :’(

How did we get it if they are striking?
I don’t disagree actors need to be paid. I just think the general selling of packs should be paying for it and be some what grind able.

343 and Microsoft aren’t on the list of companies the strike is being directed at.

doesn’t matter, Nathan Fillian is still a member of the actors union which is doing the strike, even if they are not directing striking against Microsoft does not mean they wont expect more money. Also, that still wouldn’t change my point, voice actors cost money and charging for these cosmetic changes is a way to pay for itself. There is nothing wrong with it.

Back when DLC was on a disc
Definitely worth it in my opinion. I started with Exuberant witness and I’m getting such a kick out of her. And when I do get bored I can switch to the grunt or Buck. I was a bit worried I regret the purchase, but so far I’m ecstatic.
