Seriously? Just more re-skinned stuff? 343, if you really don’t want me to come back to your game, just say so. And for those who say “Dude, just be happy that you’re getting free content”, free content doesn’t make it good content.
So, reasons why I hate this update. And I’m choosing to be cold this time around:
- Warthogs are just being re-skinned. (Congrats, you have a new paint job, you’re so cool now)
- We have more modified guns. (Haven’t bothered using 95% of the one’s I already got.)
- More emblems (Because I’m going to spend an extra 100+ hours trying to gets these… weren’t they in previous Halo’s?)
- Aurum Skin (… and?..)
- New Armor (Is it really new? Or do I already have it and it’s another re-skin?..)
- Starfire Visor (… What’s so Legendary about it? Looks like the other 52,000 visors that I have)
Really hoping Halo 6 is better… I’ve practically given up on Halo 5
this is not an update. it’s just a “req drop”
At least the trailer was epic.
I don’t care about this REQ drop AT ALL.
It’s disappointing at least.
I’d trade ALL these REQs for even just one WZAssault map.
The hybrid optics for the weapons is pointless - used it once - won’t EVER use it again. Same as the weapon skins - ugly.
Only nice thing is the Needler Hog, it does quite nicely against running Spartans, terrible against vehicles.

As for the update, I wonder what their excuse for delaying content is this time. Better be several game modes…

Could be. Personally i dont care what they do to Halo 5. I just hope H6 is better released at launch considering this is their first Halo-non remastered game.

Boom. I personally get super annoyed by every post like this.
Now I acknowledge that this sounds much like a complaint, but I feel as though 343 adds just enough content to keep the game interesting for little over a month. Then, as soon as everyone looses interest with the shiny new buttons, they add yet another small portion of content. It feels as if Halo 5 is on failing life support at this point. Not to beat a dead horse, but not launching the game with the expected content right out of the box heavily impacted this game. More on topic with OP’s post, I do wish they would add a more substantial amount of content in the updates rather than more weapon skins, visor colors, modified weapons… etc. We have plenty of all those things. Is a pack of new maps (not remixes!), and more permanent classic Halo gametypes too much to ask for? Honestly? Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this game! Yet its lack of content simply makes me loose interest until the next big update.

I understand why you’d say that, given the amount of different skins that have been added for silly armor pieces; however you must understand that the art team has no relation to the multiplayer team whatsoever. Skins, whether they are for armor or weapons, are made by the art team. 343i is divided into different teams that all work together to release content.
Also, if there’s something you want to see, talk about it instead of criticizing content they’ve already released. Just my two cents.

Ahh yes, the REQ system. Unlocks are now a husk of what they used to be. You want to work up to unlock that sweet helmet you’ve had your eye on? Well too bad, you better pray the you get it in a REQ pack… Definitely takes a lot out of the game.

But how does criticizing Warzone, something that has nothing to do with Arena, help your case? What do you want to see?
