I just had a good game on Pegasus. I won by 7 kills. Not the first time that has happened.
Then I got put in a multiplayer game on Torque. I had 3 kills the whole game. Only 4 people were in the game total. 2 quit as soon as the game started.
The Torque map sucks, plain and simple. I have played it a few times and I do not like it at all.
Is there a way I can change my profile settings so that I don’t get that map as a choice? I am happy to wait longer for a game if it means no more Torque map.
The next time I get put in a game on Torque, I am just going to quit the game and go back and search for another. Running around getting my -Yoink- kicked for 12 minutes isn’t worth trying to preserve my rank. Who really cares about the rank anyway? I won’t get anything for it.
Sounds like some losers quit and that’s what ruined your experience more than the map itself.

Not enjoying a map is fine. Ruining the experience for everyone is in your match is not fine. And that’s what you are doing when you quit matches.
Play custom games only.
Love how you give no reasoning for why its bad. Only thing you say is that you got your butt kicked on it lol The map is way better then other maps, I personally dont think rockets should be on it but thats just me.
Its a great map for assault, and well alot of the modes actually

Go ahead and quit if you’re not having fun OP, don’t let these entitled players try to tell you how to spend your time in a game you payed money for.
So because you were having a bad time in the map it is bad? Does that mean the people who did well automatically think it’s a good map? I’ve done terrible on every map at some point or another but i don’t blame it on the map, I blame it on my skill level and the bad choices I made during the game.
In that case breakout is the worst game mode ever made because I die lots
I actually like torque it’s a cool map. I think 343 did a amazing job.
I don’t see how ruining the experience for others and landing yourself a ban from matchmaking is at all a proper response to having a bad match on a new map.
But, to each their own. Go ahead and take the quit ban if you really can’t find it within yourself to play the game properly, whether you’re a fan of the map or not.

Idk, when someone is playing bad, them quitting doesn’t ruin my experience, it actually makes me feel relieved.
Rather have them quit, instead of going 3-20 causing us to lose. If they camped all game that would be fine too, but they usually just keep running out to die.
If it’s in the social playlist, go right ahead and do you OP. If it’s ranked, GFY because we know all lose ranks as a result of it.

Torque sucks, I had this damn map come up twice in my 10 games of qualifying for March. I hate Torque and will quit it every time I get placed on it.
I hate maps when they are new and I don’t know my way around them at all. I’m old enough I have to rely on map knowledge and where the enemy might be rather than twitch shooting. So I hate new maps because I’m running around COD style getting outgunned. So yeah I hated Riptide and Torque, but really like Riptide now and liking Torque more and more. So keep playing it. You’ll either start to like it or murder your Xbox.
I like it better than most of the maps

The map is to big for 6 player FFA. Other than that it is a great map and kinda reminds me of the Pit, without the Snipers.
