This has nothing to do with how the new sword looks but how it functions. I heard him say there’s a boost to movement speed and lunge distance (compared to normal sword?)
One thing that has always been massively overpowered since Reach is sprint+sword. I fear that it will be exploited again in H5.
Everything else appears to be pretty balanced at first glance. Loved the sprint linked to shields, equal spawns, and the choosiness required for using abilities. The sword is the one thing that stood out to me in a negative way.
This is seemingly only on one map as far as I can tell. It’s a special weapon of some sort.
Did you also see he escaped the sword with the thruster. It aslo spawns in 4 minutes, it’s not as OP as you think it is. Also this Beta no final.

My guess is that some maps will have special power weapons that double as power ups. I’m okay with that myself.
