How do you guys feel about the needler’s new reload?! I honestly feel quite excited… though it lost it’s otherworldly vibes. I also cannot wait for what 343 would have for us to make our Spartans feel “more canon”. I mean, they are Spartan 4s in a training sim right? What more could they add?

Another season of Spartan Ops? I was so sad when they opted to just put the rest of the story into a comic. Our Spartans names will probably never be mentioned - short of some competition or etc “Where <number> lucky winner(s) will have their Spartan’s name officially mentioned in-universe!” = but there’s always Fireteam Crimson/Apollo sort of deal, where the roster’s never mentioned explicitly but we know it was us.
Needler looks great, I’m glad it’s not absolutely useless now. It looks like a strong close range weapon.
The Needler looked pretty OP, I hope its not as OP as it was in H4. It was almost a guaranteed death in H4 if you cam across one

Don’t worry. If you watch carefully the needler just has a little more breathing space. Unlike the H4 Needler, if you miss around 8 shots, you will not get the concubine explosion, but it is not as unforgiving like the H3 needler where missing 3 shots costs you the kill.

You’re probably right. I just can’t get over my head on the new reload though.

While I have not played Spartan Ops myself, I heard it was quite the revolutionary change that they had in H4, in fact literally almost the only good thing that was mentioned by the community when they were feeling down about the broken multiplayer. This time though, I’m pretty sure that there will not be a broken multiplayer breaking the mood, rather boosting the mood instead.
