So we all know (and I have heard many complains) about Ragnarok coming up alot of the time in matchmaking and people getting tired of it. Now, however, with the new map pack in BTB I can’t find hardly any of the old maps! I guess this is good, considering the lack of DLC maps in reach, but I find every game coming up with 2-3 DLC maps and usually Exile or Longbow. Today I played ragnarok for the first time since the map pack free trial period, I am a bit worried that these old map (which were fun as heck) will not be showing up as much as they did, especially with the other map packs to be released. Now I’m not saying the map pack maps are bad, I’m just saying they get picked alot and they are become the new ragnarok in my perspective. thoughts?
I don’t have that problem since I uninstalled the map pack.
There is always one old map option in every lobby, I tend to vote for it just because great maps like vortex, longbow, and meltdown, dont get used enough. Shatter and wreckage are super fun, but they’re kind of over played at this point, just like exile and ragnarok.
People always vote for ragnarok because it was valhalla in halo 3. If there were more halo 3 map remakes for halo 4, ragnarok wouldnt be the only one chosen.
I have the map pack but the new maps never show up in MM. The same problem as in Reach.
I can’t stand the DLC map with the Mantis. It’s a big camp fest and its vehicle dominated.
DLC maps aren’t too bad, but yeah I want to play on Meltdown or Vortex again, they are fun.
How do you guys get DLC maps voting options somewhere other than Crimson DLC playlist?

If they had a remake of Blood Gulch I’d vote for it. I normally vote for Exile though.
