Probably more to stop the Onyx player using a silver “friend” to flatten out the opposition so that they can grind tiny bits of CSR.

I’m Just looking for fair matches. I play solo most of the time and am happy 343 are making some changes. They did say they are starting off loose and may tighten up more down the road. (And i hope they do)
Still seeing a lot of unranked players in matches which i really hope goes away at all levels.

The people that are railing against this the most are the ones abusing it to get easier matches and better stats. But of course they are going to say “We just want to play with our friends”. Newsflash everyone can see right through your BS!

Keep in mind that most of those will be returning players. The system has a fair idea what their rank is.

In some cases it may not be deliberate. Some people are probably genuinely unaware the fun they are having is at the expense of others.

We had one unranked go 40-8 against us recently. And so many of them are just tanking on purpose. There are just too many bad actors to have them in ranked matches.

Agree some, but going to go on a limb and say over 90% complaining about this are Full of it.

I’m Just looking for fair matches, and want to be able to trust the system to find them for me, without manipulation.

The system is the biggest source of manipulation in this game. None of the matches are “fair” because the system isn’t designed to make fair matches.

I’m very frustrated. They did NOT deliver. I am getting Platinums on both my and the opposition’s teams. It is NOT okay.

I have noticed no difference in the matchmaking. It looks like nothing was changed.

Had today a ranked match where the other team had a Diamond 3 and a Silver 6 in their team. Thought this shouldnt happen again.

by massive gap @Little_Squash I meant the csr range on who can play with each other its a massive range to the point it is pointless to have

I’m a diamond 3 in open and the difference in skill between diamond 1 and diamond 6 is huge.

So yeah - the range being 600 CSR points is somewhat inadequate…

If there going to stop different skilled friends playing with each other they might as well do it properly rather than this pandering.
