just need some help from the community, i am not sure if this has already been seen, but in this video at around 1:30 seconds into the video. you see the knight come on screen when the spartan pulls out his “hard light shield”? the weapon the knight has, looks like the new “what is believed to be” forerunner sniper.
curious though, that if it is a sniper, that the knight would fight with it in close quarters,
food for thought i guess.

I believe that is the light rifle. I’ve been wrong before but it sure looks similiar.
There was a thread on this a while back. I think it’s a Promethean Sniper Rifle.
Many people were stubborn that it was the Light Rifle. They thought that Promethean Weaponry morphed to fit its user.
Im sorry, but this and that are completely different weapons.
yeah, i wasn’t sure if anyone noticed the knight was holding the same weapon that was in the first link though. it doesn’t look like the light rifle though, and i noticed that the Knight also doesn’t fire the weapon in the vid, though he does take a few shots to the face.
maybe this is because we would have noticed faster if the showed it firing the gun.
I am 90% sure its the Light Rifle, because as 343 said, they take different forms depending on who is using it.

Just accept the fact that this dude found something new people. It’s not a light rifle and it’s plain to see that. It looks more like a Forerunner sniper rifle.

Yeah, while it shares some similarities, that is certainly not the light rifle. Probab;y is the sniper, after all, the best place to take one on is to be right in his face
That is not the Light Rifle. There are so many differences… People must not be very observant otherwise. At the very least, an official render on the Halo 4 page will help differentiate the two.
