they should make a forge playlist so that people can build maps for online games then 343 only has to add the gametypes

I’m kinda of confused by this, do you mean that you just submit your map to 343 then they choose if its good enough and fair. Because i like that idea. If your implying that any map someone makes can be put into a special forge hopper, then i dont like it.

the bestthing for forgers would be a simple Custom Lobby browser… that would be pretty easy to do i guess and it would make the game SO MUCH BETTER!

so you can open a public custom game and everyone can find it in the Game Lobby Browser.

that would be super easy to do and its would be forgers heaven!

Exactly. Forgers, when testing maps, want one thing: Notes. A forger cannot take notes if they are not in the game with their map, nor will every player that plays the map take notes. With a custom game’s lobby, forgers can get their maps tested by random people, get their opinions, have a video for further feedback, and the main goal itself (the notes) achievable.

Actually, I just had an idea: what if you had an option on your fileshare to “submit map to cartographer” and then there was an playlist in matchmaking to “playtest submitted maps” where you could play on the maps and at the end of the round you have the option to vote “yes” or “no” for the maps and also leave feedback for the Forger. After so many positive votes a cartographer will then view the map, and if they believe it is good enough they could submit it to 343. What about this?

A custom game hopper would be a dream. I never understood why it was never added to any Halo games. Obviously MM is needed for competitive play, but there’s no reason the game can’t have both.
