Unless 343 want to make no sense at all…the new mythic is definitely the M6D.
So there’s been a lot of debate over what the mythic weapon on this image is
Most people have been saying it is probably the CE magnum or Fist of Rukt from Halo 2…or something else.
However, it is my belief that it is the M6D magnum…but not because of what it looks like.
I believe it is the M6D magnum because of this image…
The far left card is a stance called “Old school”
This can be seen blurred on the first image next to “Hammer time” (on the REQ reveal image)
If you look closely at the stance, you can see that the clip is extended… and the M6D clip is extended.
So I am CERTAIN…we are getting the M6D magnum in this next update…
If we aren’t…343 make no sense at all.
And I doubt they’ll name a stance “old school” if it’s the current magnum…

We’re getting a stance showing the M6D…
That stance has to be holding the M6D, I don’t doubt it at all. But I still think the Mythic is the Fist of Rukt because, Fist of Rukt.
Update the arena req bundle news format in when you start up the game shows old school but with the regular mag so go start up the game and see it for yourself

wait… Your right… I checked the megablocks sight and it’s the socom (halo CE pistol) it’s a perfect match. But why does it have a different background than the rest
I disagree, all weapons are shown side on, and the outline you can see, even with the blurring , doesn’t look like it would fit the M6D.
I think its a Jetpack armor mod. the image kind of looks like a red Spartan with something over the shoulders

Armor mods show what they do but not on a Spartan on the req card
Also the jet pack would literally break the game it would be a sniper town
Plus it isn’t an armor mod it’s a Spartan abuility why would it be
a mythic.

This could be Tartarus cuz it’s a person holding a stick
Armor mods provide an unseen charge to your armor, they only change how it reacts, this is a physical change so it has something to show.
Its mythic because they want it to be hard to get and it is powerful.
Its such a hot topic, people are hyped about the M6D coming back, but no one knows when or how(or if?).
I’m sticking with my Jet pack theory, I think the blurred icon fits, its different enough from the normal armor mods that it would have a unique icon, its mythic to make it hard to come back to fit with the power it brings to a match.
The blurred icon doesn’t match the profile of other weapons or vehicles, they each point the same directly, this doesn’t fit, unles its a grenade…

The Mythic is not the M6D, you can have my copy of Halo 5 if it is

Thank you, I thought I saw that somewhere but was unsure, but I don’t believe they said when, and if it was going to be this update, why hide the image of something we already know is coming back?

It was more than just verbally stated to be returning, they showed it in the sprint videos
