I felt the same way and wasnt even gonna give them a chance until I got them for free. I played them and honestly, they are 3 of my favorite maps in the game now. Although shatters green filter is very harsh on my eyes, looks like a boomer from L4D threw up on my face before the game started.
This game has a huge lack of small maps but I have the feeling that most small maps are gonna be coming from the community rather than 343 itself and once they are tested and implemented into matchmaking we will have a wide variety of maps new and old to play.
tl:dr: Just because they aren’t small doesnt make them bad, they are excellent big team maps, and this is coming from someone who went into the DLC playlist FULLY EXPECTING them to suck -Yoink!-.
I think they’re great. Only maps on the game i mildly dislike are Haven and Abandon.
Still waiting for the forge maps to be implemented…

flew around themin forge, wasn’t impressed bc they are all btb maps, so i didn’t play them. still haven’t played multiplayer since week 1 and i don’t have a problem with that
