The new maps are garbage!

yeh not a fan of them they suck pretty hard. I like Harvest. Fun map. Good gameplay. The rest suck.

I liked Shatter. And this is coming from someone who hates Mantises.

Harvest is also very nice looking and plays well.

Mine’s almost finished downloading (2 hours it’s been, yes my download speed is really that good). If there’s any maps like Complex I think I’ll rip my toenails out of my nostrils… I can’t stand that map >.<

I like all of them. You just have to try from for different objectives.

I like the maps, I dislike the people who camp the base in CTF so i’m the only one going for the flag ^^

Personally I hate all three of the new maps. Harvest looks and plays like a bigger version of Complex and that is a problem cause that map sucks. Wreckage looks like it was designed by a 5 year old, there is random stuff everywhere and whoever holds that top hill in the back wins. (You can argue map control and blah blah blah but it still annoys me). And lastly Shatter looks like its straight out of a C&C game with all the Tiberium popping up all over the map and Extraction plays extremely poorly on that map.

Having seen the map trailer vids and the layout diagrams, I’ve decided not to buy them. I Can’t say if they ‘suck’ or not, but for me I don’t feel like they’ll add to the experience. In addition, having bought the Reach map packs and NEVER seeing them come up in matchmaking - I’ll always shy away from buying new maps.

The most recent time that map packs have worked (and I hate to admit it) was in Halo 3 when they locked you out of playlists if you didn’t have ‘the dlc’. It was tough, but it meant the new maps were implemented beautifully.

Look at Burial Mounds then at Wreckage. Theres random stuff on that map too.

I love these threads, particularly when a Poll is involved.

The results never seem to coincide with what the OP thinks the results should be.

the new maps sucks indeed and as a LE owner i wouldn’t mind the delay but I feel we’re scummed because everyone downloaded them for free
