Am I the only person who feels like 343i shouldnt have changed the soundtrack for Halo 4? I mean i understand that 343i wanted to make the game their own way with their style and make it different to the Bungie ones, but i sure was hoping to hear that Halo 3 soundtrack (i know you know it) in the main menu when i first played Halo 4 and was bummed that it has been changed.
I know ill eventually come to like the new one but damn that one lives forever.
Halo 2 was my favorite soundtrack, but yeah I agree, Halo 4 did not have that staple of a soundtrack that the previous titles did. I was unaware that Martin O’Donnel was no the composer for the Halo 4 soundtrack, but regardless of who it is, I am not a fan of it personally.
This soundtrack was amazing, but I would’ve preferred the original. It felt more like “halo” especially with the chanting monks here and there. Halo 4 is so different from the original, now even the music’s different. Hopefully, they incorporate some of the old themes.
