I read about this, I think it’s a good idea but one thing got my attention, I am rank SR-51 currently and would not like that to reset at any time, when this new system comes will it reset everyone’s rank?

No from what I understand you will keep the xp rank it’s just a number to represent your skill lvl will be giving to you so you can match players of the same level.
Nobody is gonna be able to see your rank so it’s kind of pointless
No one will lose XP or be reset or anything. My understanding is that this “skill” is already being calculated. I don’t know the formula but picture something like the BPR from reach, just more skill-oriented and 1-50 instead of 1-100. It also sounds like it will be available on Halo Waypoint (and maybe in-game in a title update)… I assume for everyone to see (again, like BPR).
I pray with all my might that 343 puts ranked play list with ranks in game. Similar to Halo 2. And a social play list like Infinity slayer and Infinity Big Team where guest can play and have fun.
It will not work like the BPR…BPR does’nt match you with people about your same skill level, this CRS will be more oriented to the H3 ranking system…The only problem its that will be invisible in-game but im fine with that…The only big problem is how MLG will work with the instant respawn dumb thing.
