Watch Halo Anniversary terminal on The Maw. It mentions a forerunner army or another race called Prometheans and it said “These Reclaimers might almost prefer the flood”.
Read the forerunners novels
never see them
i will look it up
I find something .
“The Prometheans were the highest and most respected group of Warrior-Servants in the Forerunner ecumene.[2] The Didact, the Confirmer, the Grammarian and the Strategos were Prometheans.
Physically, Prometheans were the highest form a Warrior-Servant could mutate to, standing around four meters tall and between 800 and 1,000 kilograms in weight. They were heavily muscled, their hands capable of easily crushing a human skull. Their mental capabilities were also very sophisticated; it was common for a Promethean to share information and sensory input with the warriors under their command”.
Please just read the book and don’t take halopedia as a source

The Prometheans will almost 100% not be the big bads of the Reclaimer trilogy. They are a subsection of the Forerunner warrior-servant caste. Not some evil enemy race.
I’m pretty sure he was talking about the Didact when 343 said that.
Prometheans are the highest in the Forerunner Warrior-Servants. If they were somehow the enemies in Halo 4, the Chief and Humanity wouldn’t stand a chance. They wear at least Class 12 armor, and the Chief’s Mk V was a Class 2. It might be Class 3 with the Mk VI, but still.
Spark was saying how Prometheans could have ended the struggle on the ring, I don’t think he was hinting that Prometheans would be the Ancient Enemy. However, the Didact was heavily hinted at. He leads the Prometheans, but as far as we know… the Didact is dead, or it unstable. And Prometheans would probably be the last Forerunners to survive. The civilians and higher classes would most likely be sent to the Sheild Worlds or the Ark first, and we know the Activation was a sudden activation when the Maginot Line was invaded. Warriors most likely wouldn’t have gotten out of there safely, they would have been fighting to the end.
The Halo terminals haven’t revealed anything about a new enemy. The only new enemy is (If you haven’t read Halo: Primordium, than please skip to the second paragraph) or not so “new” enemy is 343 GS. The Precursors aren’t the bad guys and apparently 343GS just wants to find his friends at any cost. (By the way from what I understood the flood ain’t bad guys either)
The “enemies” can only be can only be certain forerunners or 343 GS
We did Destroy a Halo and the ark . I think counts us has enemy to Prometheans. lol
> We did Destroy a Halo and the ark . I think counts us has enemy to Prometheans. lol
- There is another Ark.
- The Didact HATED the Halo Array to begin with.
- The Forerunners fighting humanity would be a terrible way to face the true ancient evil, the Flood sent to test humanities place as inheritor’s of the Precursor mantle.
Seriously, read the books and don’t take the words of pissed off Monitor in defense mode super seriously.
> We did Destroy a Halo and the ark . I think counts us has enemy to Prometheans. lol
No.
Stop speculating on things you clearly know little to nothing about, and just read the books.
If there was one thing that my World History teacher taught my class to do was to READ READ READ!
I’d suggest OP to do just that.
I will definetly buy the books sometime ask anybody that knows me and I am obsessed with books lol
The two or three terminals one of which I know is on Assault on the Control Room definitely show us something new. The ship that crashed, it kinda stands out and doesn’t look forrunner in the least.
I dont have time to read 50 books. I do have encyclopedia but I do need update it.
> I dont have time to read 50 books. I do have encyclopedia but I do need update it.
Not 50 books, not using the encyclopedia. Read Halo: Cryptum and Halo: Primordium. You’ll get a better grasp at the situation at hand. You won’t regret it. It details the history leading up to the firing of the Halo Array’s 100,000 years before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.
If you don’t want to read it, that’s fine. Even reading a detailed analysis of info from the books or even reading what happens in it is fine. What counts is the information you receive from it.
Prometheans are not a race, they are an elite class of forerunner warriors.
I don’t know why, (and all evidence points against it), but I keep returning to the idea of a Mendicant-vs-Offensive conflict, with two super-powerful AI’s duking it out like the old days during the final battle of the Forerunner-Flood War.
