Why is it worse than Reach’s? I don’t understand. This is not a new engine, it’s Reach’s engine with prettier colors and some more optimization. Many things were copied and pasted, so why wasn’t the netcode copied and pasted? Halo 4’s netcode is almost as bad as Halo 3’s. Reach’s was the best so far. I just don’t get it, didn’t 343i test this game? (no)
LoL. Thats funny, I asked my GF last night did she think 343i test Halo 4. Her replie was, “seems like to me they had LAN Parties all the time. From the vids you shown me”. But yeah, we would have like a day where everything works a-ok. And two where people are just warping all over the place.

There were no beta tests. There are bugs that need fixing sure. But bugs aside it’s a pretty great game.
I totally agree though about bugs in the netcode. Always something that should be fixed, regardless of the game.
You know, I actually got paired up last night with two guys from the middle east, judging by their gamertags and how they were speaking.
Needless to say, definitely surprised me when I’m living in the NE region of the USA… not to mention the lag.

I remember watching that vid over at Gamespot when Tsquared found a bug on Haven. I was like ummmm, they’ll fix that. Then I realized the game already gone gold. With that being said, I am still enjoying the game.

To be fair, everything works fine on LAN…because that’s just how it goes. Online though, it’s terrible. From hit detection, to idiotic lag compensation, to teleporting. Always one of these in every match for me, if not more.
