THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN

this has been one of the worst launches in video game history.
i have lost almost all faith in 343i’s ability in making halo.bungie made a mistake with halo reach and handed it over to 343i to revive it from what is looking like the slow and painful death of our beloved halo. halo 4 in the majority of halo fans opinions was a complete and utter disaster.343i decided to make a game for the casual player and not its real fans.it looked like they looked at the forums once and seen that someone put up a topic that armor lock was a -Yoink- thing and then thought we will tell everyone that armor lock is no longer in halo and got our hopes up just for them to throw a massive steaming pile of -Yoink- right back at us.

so it gets to e3 2014 and they tell us they are bringing back the classic halo’s on one disc and we all thought thtr 343i were going to redeem them selves and halo buy brining the more popular and better games back and yet again it hits us straight back in the face.almost a month now and the game is still unplayable.i cant play with friends and after every match i have to reset my game.

we have been told that we are going to get some consolation but i swear to god if its the rest of the h2a maps remastered i will be so angry as they should all ready be in the -Yoinking!- game you cant just remaster half of the maps and then plan on releasing the other half as dlc which was most likely the plan so they can take more money off of us.

halo 5 will be the tiping point for me and it allready looks like they havnt listened to us AGAIN.sprint is still a feature after 1000’s of topics on the forums asking to get rid of it.“we have made it so your health doesnt regen when sprinting” who gives a -Yoink- thats still not balanced. i will still get kids sprint at me with a sword or double beatdown before being able to even shot four rounds out my br.

if they dont listen to us and halo 5 turns out to be more of the same im done.

Everyone’s main problem with sprint it that you could run away from fight while regaining health. The fact that it no longer regenerates health while you are sprinting is a step in the right direction.

This community= “It has Halo in the title so it has to be Halo 2/3 all the time” If it’s called Halo and it’s fun and competitive I couldn’t give a damn if it wasn’t classic Halo. I’m going to keep my judgement on H5G until I get to play some of it.

(Looked at your profile and your Clan tag seems to be 343BOLA. likening a game dev company that screwed up a launch to a deadly disease that has killed thousand’s isn’t funny or in no way intelligent)

I must’ve read this thread at least 15 times in the last 24 hours. :I

I know, right?

What, the whole Halo 5 isn’t a re skinned Halo 2 so it can’t be good ever type of thread?

I still like sprint and admire most of the games and have been playing them since the beginning, if I knew you it might be sad but since I don’t there’s no loss sooooo…um Goodbye

Nope, the usual “worst launch in history” bit. At this point I’m pretty sure we all know the launch was a cockup, no need to say it every…single…time.

What the hell happened to us?

sprint is just plain limited. makes the game too fast like cod. ever compare halo 1/2/3 gameplay with 4? the former are much slower; thats what made this game fun

At OP

Almost a month? What calendar are you looking at? It’s been 17 days. Two and a half weeks.

Wrong. Sprint will still cause maps to grow to compensate, which creates a slew of other problems.
They can nerf sprint to the point where it’s nearly useless, but that still won’t fix all of the issues it creates. The only way to do that, I’m convinced, is to totally remove it.
