I’ve been thinking about this ever since I heard we will be able to wield some of the more estimable weapons in the UNSC arsenal, and since we are a bit closer to launch, I figured now would be a good time to ask this.
If we are lucky enough to get Linda’s sniper rifle - Nornfang - or Kelly’s shotgun, will they be a one off type usage? Or will we be able to continually use them through out the game?

yeah sadly they are a one time use. I was talking about this with some other people and I think I’m going to just hoard my mythic cards lol I’d rather be able to say I have them and look at them in my collection rather than to use the card and get sniped in the face before I got the first shot off with my mythic weapon.

Yes, exactly! The risk of dying right after using it is way too high. And if these cards are as rare as I assume, then it is totally not worth using.

no problem. and yeah I have a feeling the mythic cards will be few and far between. there is no way I’m burning one unless I have multiples.

Unless there is some sort of achievement for having them all at once, I don’t see the logic behind this. Having them just to have them?

It’s better than the alternative, which is a bunch of noobs running around with her legendary sniper. Plus, getting it once and it have one use makes it that much more exciting, your going to take a deep breath before putting yourself in harms way with that thing equipped.

It’s single use in Warzone. Keep in mind all the weapon variants will likely show up in Arena on some map/mode or other; nothing wrong with them in Arena if you can’t spawn with them. Also, Custom Games.

No, of course. I have no problem with arena balance or anything, just curious as to their Warzone usage. Seems it will be a pretty tough choice whether to use them or not.

2-3 times is acceptable too, because there’s always going to be those times where you spawn and some weird stuff goes down. But luckily there isn’t any friendly fire in warzone…so those weird incidents are less likely to occur.

You mean gone are the days of people jumping in front of my tank cannon to betray them so they can kick me and take my tank?

I think you can get multiples of all cards, but the chance of getting multiples of Mythic cards would be hard.

No it just means the card is good for a single use. You can get multiples of it though. You use the term “burn” so I’m assuming your familiar with Titanfall. It’s like getting a rare Titan drop card, the card is only good for one use, but you can stockpile as many of that card as you come across.

You’re correct. In one of the warzone videos, the guy playing had multiples of the Mythic Binary Rifle.

Or you can get a bad spawn and immediately get REKT/REQt

Ahh, that was worse case scenario I was thinking then. People made it sound like it was never going to appear again. I’d probably just hold off from using them instantly, but not hoard them. I’m familiar with Titanfall, but didn’t know it had something like this.

Yea but when you can select your spawn point and it shows cameras of the surrounding area while selecting, it pretty much falls on user error. Basically, it’s your own fault for spawning in with a mythic sniper rifle in front of 3 scorpions.
Granted there are those people that just spam ‘A’ to get back into the action, and I’m guilty of doing it as well.
