The mysterious Anvil Initiative in Halo 5?

So while it has been somewhat confirmed that Elites are not playable at launch that might not mean they are not gone forever. In a 343 community Q&A some time ago there was something mentioned when one question was related to elites in Halo 5:

DO ANY OF THEL’S ELITES PARTICIPATE ALONGSIDE SPARTANS IN WAR GAMES FOR TRAINING?

    There are healthy military relationships stretching back to 2553. Classified records associated with the ANVIL initiative indicate a number of very select joint training engagements.

Now this Anvil Initiative was first revealed by this Q&A and has now remained as a mysterious figure ever since. It has been mentioned several times in Halo Online but yet the Q&A was mainly directed for Halo 5. Also when I looked it up there was a full description of what it wasS:

Description: The ANVIL initiative indicates a number of very select joint training engagements between Spartan- IVs and Sangheili of Arbiter Thel 'Vdam’s Swords of Sanghelios aboard Anvil Station.

So now with this new addition to the lore could this lead to the possibility of elites being playable again in future DLC for Halo 5? What part do you think this mysterious Anvil Initiative will play in Halo 5 story or multiplayer? Share your thoughts below.

I believe Anvil Station is the area where the simulated battles are for Halo Online. In Halo 5, you will still be training aboard the Infinity, and there was no mention of Elites on Infinity. Therefore, the ANVIL initiative is more than likely directed to those only on Anvil Station, and they will not appear in Halo 5.

That is a possibility but then again the training sessions might move over to the infinity. And there is war zone which is a giant simulation and there was mention of AI allies so its possible the Swords of Sanghelios could be ally AI’s depending on what map you can play.
