I’ve never been able to get over how good the music for the Halo games is. All of them. At least up unitl Halo 4 when Neil Davidge did the music. didn’t like it as much then. But man oh man. Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori did some amazing sh*t lemme tell you. Shame bungie let Martin go, for whatever reason.
I agree, I think the best music a game for a while.
Agree with you, except for the Halo 4 stuff. I think Davidge did a pretty good job with the soundtrack. Granted, there are a few tracks I didn’t care for but some of them really immerse you in the “new trilogy.” Regardless, I agree. Probably one of the best video game soundtracks I’ve ever heard. And I agree about letting Marty go, wish I knew why because the guy was a musical genius.
Where can you get a copy of the soundtrack? I would love having one.

The Halo 4 score is actually very good. Most of it is far more cinematic than Marty’s stuff, though his stuff is certainly more unique and catchier.
