The Mural in the Arbiter's Hall

I just noticed it. Why on Sanghelios would there be the mural to the formation of the Covenant in a major Sangheili site?

Do you have a link? I haven’t seen it.

This is the best link I’ve got. Unfortunately that area isn’t fully explorable, as the level ends too soon thereafter.

Well, you see, the elites are into the aesthetic appeal…

Wow I never noticed that before. They show the dreadnought and everything. It was probably a holy site, it was written there after the formation of the Covenant to remember their history, or both. That’s all I can think of.

Why do you think? Do you know the history?

Aye, and I also know the Sangheili weren’t too enthusiastic about joining. It was more a means to prevent global bombardment.

But more than having a mural to it, why have a mural in a Sangheili sacred site?

there are no literature about that, but that temple is in ruins, maybe was built as a sacred temple as a covennant arrangement, and post-separation was destroy by the arbiter followers. who knows.

One of the best things that have come out of the elites.

It may have been placed there as a memorial given that it was a major moment in Sangheili history and undoubtedly some Sangheili would have seen the event as religiously significant later on.

Considering that the entire Covenant is a religious thing, it only makes sense that this mural is present.
