We now know that the entire reason the multiplayer was announced as F2P was so aggressive microtransactions could be shoved into the game. It’s not their inclusion that bugs me, but their pricing. They’re charging £10 for the colour blue on a Warthog. How did we go from Reach’s customisation to this?
And in response to anyone saying it’s permissible because the game is F2P - who asked for the game to be free to play? It’s clear we were better off paying full price as we were getting significantly better value with cosmetics.
I like the game but another thing that’s underwhelming is the progression system and lack of content. 10 maps after 6 years? No Forge or Co op Campaign at launch? It feels like as much time went into creating this restrictive armour coating system as the actual multiplayer itself.
