The Most Difficult Rounds in Warzone Firefight?

What do you guys find to be the hardest rounds to complete in Warzone Firefight?

For me, the hardest round is on Legendary difficulty and on the map Raid on Apex 7 when you first start the game and have to defend the armory. The Prometheans are a pain.

Anytime you have to defend something on Mythic Warzone. The enemies all ways spawn on the thing you have to protect, and it takes a lot of damage in a short period of time.

That was my answer lol, i guess I have to choose a different one. Taking over a base in Mythic warzone. I swear the enemies keep respawning inside.

The round you mentioned was the first that came to mind. Also, I think it’s round 2 on Darkstar where you have to defend the west armory. Prometheans immediately spawn in a short distance from the armory and proceed to sprint straight at the armory. Meanwhile, most players are at other REQ stations, so the enemies get a cheap lead off on attacking the armory. And then it’s a matter of defending against relentless waves of Soldiers and Crawlers until the round ends.

I only play on Heroic so naturally any harder difficulty will be tougher. My nominees:

1) Round 5 on Sanctum with two Wardens. A couple Knight bosses and two Wardens doesn’t seem so bad until you realize you’re also fighting incineration cannon Knights that keep spawning in. If you don’t get a handle on them, you’ll be staring at ten of them all gunning for you. That’s what makes this my hardest round in Firefight.

2) Round 5 on Sanctum with four Knight bosses. Can be a difficult round without heavy vehicles and then having the Knights on the roof and in the garage can make them difficult to hit. I’ve lost many rounds in the death screen looking at one Knight left in the garage with a sliver of health.

3) Round 5 on Urban/Stormbreak with three Wardens. Dealing with three Wardens can be difficult, but then put them all in a confined area and it can be a real pain. What makes this one difficult is time management, the elevated location of the Mythic Warden and the limited space in the base. If the Mythic Warden goes onto the highest elevated platform, your chances of winning just went down significantly so be sure to use Wraiths for this round.

4) Round 4 on ARC defend the garage. Just the sheer amount of enemies and Knights can make this one a very difficult round if you don’t have a decent team.

5) Round 5 on Darkstar kill the two Knights. This one seems easy, but it can quickly go bad if your team doesn’t equip the right stuff due to the narrow entry points to get to them and lack of things to hide behind to not get hit by the incineration cannons. They can easily one shot a Mantis if they fire four shots in a row.

6) Round 2 on Apex 7 kill the two Banshees. This one is deceptively hard due to the lack of REQ weapons available and the AI Ghosts on the map. If you don’t have a decent or coordinated team, you’ll end this round with one or two Banshee bosses still flying around.

When you have to defend the garage on ARC on round 4, usually I just use an smg and dmr if I’m in the garage. A bunch of Prometheans spawn and they can tear you apart. Try to stay up on the second floor near the req station so you can replenish your ammo and can provide cover for you. The enemies will usually come up the stairs and the openings by the stairs. Their is an opening to the left of the req station on the second floor, though I never seen an enemy attack me or use that opening to attack me from that side. If you have the promethean grenades (I forgot what they were called), they will do well against soldiers and knights if you throw on at them. Also, their is a phaton on top of the garage which can be annoying when your trying to get into the garage.

4 knight harbingers on sanctum round 5 is my pick.

Pretty much any round after round 1 where my teammates don’t call in vehicles…But also I mostly agree with Lukepowa’s list. Off the top of my head, I would add one more to it: the round 5 on Apex 7 where you have to kill Elite bosses that hide in a cave, and then some Knight bosses. The Elite bosses can be easily splattered if someone has a Ghost, but in my experience, this round can get hairy especially because of the Phaetons. It doesn’t seem to appear often, though.

I was close to adding that round, but I felt that I don’t lose on it enough. I usually spawn a Ghost to splatter the Elites and then spawn a Hannibal Wasp to kill the Phaetons and Knights while keeping my distance. Whenever I lose, it’s usually because I’m in a tank and we took too long to kill the Elites. It’s weird how often I’ll see people not splattering them when they’re in a smaller vehicle like a Ghost, but instead just try to shoot them.

Killing the wardens on urban

defenfing the garage on arc

the solider commandos on darkstar

I’ve only played Heroic and Mythic. So I’ll say this:

For Heroic: Any first OR second round involving Ghosts. They’re the biggest pain.

For Mythic: Any if those friggin defends. I hate babysitting in games, even more so when what I’m babysitting can’t move or shoot. Doesn’t help that enemies seem to get the warp coordinates right on the money. Objective usually fails in seconds. Especially iif you get it before the good reqs.

I play Heroic, but I vote Banshees on round 2. Can be absolutely brutal.

Round 2 banshees on Apex 7 definitely.
Round 4 4 Mantises on Sanctum. That one in the garage makes me lose almost every time.

I’ve always hated fighting the Grunt Goblins.

Anyone remember the pre-patch banshess on Apex? Those things would kill you instantly

My pick is one of the final rounds on urban. The 4 soldiers on top of the armory followed by 3 wardens

How about any time you have to defend anything on legendary, when you team mates are brand new players.

I lose on it almost every time :joy: And I’m usually the one who has to call in a Ghost to take care of the Elites.

If you’re having trouble with that round, just do this. You don’t need to fight with the Phaetons and stuff if you go around them.

It depends on the map (and maybe the difficulty).
For example: Round 5 on Attack on Sanctum where you have to kill the four Knight Harbingers and you have those annoying “green” Watchers healing them (especially after using their shield) when you nearly kill one of the Knight Harbingers. Once that happens, you have to kill them all owver again, especially if you are running out of time.

Another example is the same round and map, but with Wardens Eternal and you have Knights contstantly spawning as the round goes by and you still have to kill the “green” Watchers before they get a chance to heal.

Defending an objective in Mythic FF is easy. You just need a tough ghost to run over everything. The true impossible rounds are the promethean-based final rounds where you fight around four bosses before three Wardens spawn inside the core base with 2 trillion little minions with light rifles and incineration cannons right at the front door. Two examples include the March on Stormbreak final round, where you fight four bullet-sponge knights before fighting three Wardens, and the one on the WZA version of Noctus, where you fight four soldiers before three Wardens spawn in the core base with the entrance just covered with knights. Literally the only way to beat the round in Mythic is to get every single player to get a scorpion or wraith and be lucky enough to all get the perfect angle to shoot at Red Warden in that super cramped space clearly not made to fit 8 tanks comfortably in. THAT is the hardest round.
