The most common Favorite weapon

is of course the DMR. personally i find this somewhat weird. i think this is proof that the dmr is OP or it could just mean that it is community favorite.

It should be the DMR for everyone…

In Match-Making my favourite weapon is the DMR, but overall it is the BR.

I will ALWAYS use the BR, but in games where I am forced to use the DMR I will. I used to enjoy using the LR, but it just doesn’t compete with the DMR at any other range apart from Long-Range.

Why bother posting? That is hardly constructive.

I used to use the DMR, but I started using the LR as soon as I got the stabillity perk. I feel like the LR actually gives me a challenge, and the LR has interesting combos combining scoped and unscoped shots.

BR in halo 4, but if the Assault Rifle was how it was in halo 1 it would be my favorite.

DMRs! DMRs everywhere!

I’m a BR guy though.

Mine’s the gravity hammer…

My favorite weapon is the weapon that is hardly even used - the carbine.

It is a post with an opinion though.

I feel you man, sometimes I have to use the DMR just because there isn’t enough CC ammo around.

My most used may be DMR, but I love my CC. Can’t wait for when they nerf that darn semi-sniper.

Your opinion isn’t constructive. Just look at the last thread you made concerning the BR and DMR. That wasn’t constructive either.

People say the DMR is the most used but I honestly see just as many using the BR. After that is the Lightrifle, which isn’t that uncommon either. The Carbine is least used in my observation, but it’s still very useful and it’s in one of my main loadouts.

In terms of a player’s favourite weapon, it could be anything. But most players are going to pick the DMR over their favourite, because it is simply so powerful there is no “tactical” reason not to.

My favourite weapon is the Carbine, but it is so useless compared to even the BR or Light Rifle that I can’t be -Yoinked!- to bother, it’s accuracy is so inconsistent that it’s like holding the trigger with the pre-TU Reach Needle Rifle. I settle for the BR because while it’s nowhere near as good as the DMR, it’s a weapon I like more as a Halo 2/3 vet, it requires quite a bit more skill to 5 shot with, and it’s consistent enough that I can get away with choosing it so long as I play very, very carefully.

You’re completely wrong. DMR vs DMR is terrible, it’s all about who shot first unless one of the players is somehow so terrible at this game that they miss a shot.

There is good reason MLG uses BR starts, and that’s because a skilled player can and will out BR an unskilled player over and over again. A luxury the DMR doesn’t offer.

DMR has longer range than even a light rifle… Halo 4 has the longest ranged maps since ever… DMR seems a logical pick.

Carbine. It has always been my favorite, especially in campaign.

assualt rifle, we barely have sniper maps and it’s a classic, sure i’d lose on ragnarok vs dmrs, but I couldn’t win in the first place with their sniper/mantis support

And Camo is my only equipment for a reason, to hide from -Yoinks!- who don’t like it up close
