The Most Buggy Update EVER! HELP ME!!!!

First of all I’d like to say that this better not be some sort of sick joke because my gameplay experience is ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE thanks to a new Halo 5 game update.

Not too long ago the game asked me to update the game. Ok, no problem… then I started playing the game with said update active.

I couldn’t believe that whatever the hell was sent out to me was actually installed because the word “ridiculous” can’t even scratch the surface on how messed up my game play is now.

Vehicles drive sideways (yes, on their side), everybody shoots their weapons above their heads (in campaign, warzone, and arena - what the hell?), it’s impossible to aim, my spartan’s arms get in the way of my head so I can’t see anything when I’m trying to move around, my character planks on the side of mongooses whenever I try to drive them, it’s impossible to drive ghosts… the list goes on, I assure you.

What the hell kind of update is this anyways and how the hell can I fix this before I lose my mind?!

That sounds like you just need to exit the game and do a full shutdown then restart and see if it works, good luck!

I’ve never seen anything like this before.

I did the whole shutdown/restart thing to no avail, so I uninstalled the game and I’m currently in the process of re-installing it.

Somehow I’m under the impression that some data might have been corrupted as the update was installing while my console was all like, “yeah, bro, this stuff looks totally fine to me. Send it through.”

After reinstalling the game, everything miraculously went back to normal.

I just wish I knew what went wrong.
