The more I think about why 343 decided to move halo into a FTP scheme is because they had no content whatsoever or any type of idea what they were doing or even close to having infinite done… They found this to be an opportunity to extend development of content that they never had and call it a live service.

well ain’t that just 1 tin foil hat idea that everyone had thought of
it could very well be a combination of that, along with microsoft’s decision (as the publisher) to make it f2p
the additional combination is that both microsoft and 343 and greedy boys. and 343 are totally money bros with microsoft… but that’s all up in the air
either way, weather this may be true or not… 343 is still incompetent at being a game dev team

How can you say that? They’ve made more contributions to Halo’s microtransactions and item shops than Bungie or Ensemble ever has!!!
