Remember we were told the signature chanting monks of the halo soundtrack would return in some way for halo 4? i dont think we are to expect the chanting monks that we are all familiar to, i think this is the chanting monks that we are to expect

i think this is neil davidge’s version/alternative to the origianl chanting monks.

also what makes me think this is heres a quote from frank o’connor from an article a while back “O’Connor also confirmed that signature chanting monks will return to the musical score due to it being “influenced heavily” by the previous games. It won’t be the exact same monk chant though.”

Despite O’connor said that the signature chant will return i still think that chant from the composing worlds is the chant they are talking about. If this is true which i think it is its a bit disappointing, dont get me wrong this post isnt a rant or a complaint its just something i wanted to bring up.

but also thats a just a remix of the music from the teaser, i know the offical teaser music still feature a small portion of monk chanting but im not sure if its gonna go further than the trailer,i know you could say why have it in the trailer but not the game, as i also heard that the original theme isnt coming back despite it being in that teaser trailer.

I think when he said it will be returning and will be slightly different he meant this. At 1:22 it starts. The same chant but a little more misterious, fitting the tone of the Reclaimer trilogy.
