Out of all the vehicles added each game the only drive able vehicle to stay in for more than one game (ODST = Halo 3, Not including Halo wars) that wasn’t in halo CE is the mighty mongoose. Am I the only person wishing they would actually add some new vehicles and not get rid of them for the next game.
I understand why only the doogle is left though. The new human vehicles were all map-breaking for the purposes of Halo. The brutes are not in halo 4 =(. The shade was loved because is was just That horrible =). The revenant while now imbeded in the lore (Halo: Glasslands, Halo: Thursday War) was horrible overpowered with the ability to flip anything but a tank with one shot. The Mongoose, like the Shade, is all but transport (Sprocket Doogle!), but just its presence makes the game more fun.
Ya gotta say the vehicle choice is looking pretty lame. It’s like they stepped back to the halo 2 vehicle sandbox minus a spectre. Sure they put in the mantis but they removed UNSC air vehicles (either the hornet or falcon) and any covenant spectre variant.
Like you said if they want to expand on the vehicles fine but stop removing things.
Stop complaining about the damn changes. Every game has its differences. You want a revi, go play Reach. Want a falcon, go play Reach. Reach isn’t going anywhere. (About to get flamed by the people who aren’t satisfied with things and the work that other people do)
Personally, I miss the Hornet instead of the Falcon to be honest. In Reach, not alot of people would take the Falcon, but in Halo 3, everyone or most people would go after the Hornet, it was a great vehicle.

I’m not complaining I just making an observation. I will miss my UNSC air support though. Even though falcons were a flying triple kill it felt so awesome being the gunner and owning that one time!

Yeah, the Falcons were a bit OP, but they had their place in the last round of invasion. If core carriers could actually get in them, we would have so many epic moments.
I liked the Hornet in Avalanche. As a combat vehicle, it was more annoying than anything else. It’s guns were weak, a short burst from a warthog causing it to implode, and getting on the side was just suicide. But, when your team manages to pull a flag cap together using that thing it is the greatest feeling in the world.
I prefer to believe that the 360s limitations prevented them from adding much without cutting other things, and in a couple years halo5 will come back strong with new and old sandbox pieces. The games this last year or 2 make the box work pretty hard(my old Xbox died when I first loaded the witcher 2)

Yep, the 360’s limitations is why they had to cut UNSC Air vehicles, campaign theatre, ruin infection/flood customs… so that they could fit in pointstreaks, killcams, and join in progress.
Technically the drive-able Wraith was introduced in Halo 2 and has been in every game since. I would have liked a new UNSC air-vehicle but I’m alright.

> It wasn’t in the interactive guide or the (incomplete) Forge inventory, which basically confirms that it won’t be drive-able.
