Just had to say it.After trying to splatter enemies with it since forever and never gettin any I accidently betray.You suck mongoose.
For splatters its terrible. As a fast hard to hit vehicle with a tonne of health its great.

Yeah I was,all its good for at the moment is delivering the mail.
it is good for returning the flag, and also running around with a passenger with rockets… not to mention a throw away ride for getting into enemy base fast to grab flag or steal a better vehicle. and splatters are way easier now than they were in Halo 3. Mancannon out to the middle in ragnarok and it’ll do 10 flips when it lands bad sometimes… and 9 outve 10 times land on its wheels and ride away!

… The mongoose is great for a quick transport… If you’re using it for assault then you’re doing it wrong.
If you just found out in Halo 4 the Mongoose isn’t usefull for assault then you either didn’t play the previous Halo installments or you just still don’t get it.

You can also earn a sweet five points for going of a man cannon with a passenger, its a nice touch, I’ll give 'em that.
I just remembered… My gf who plays H4 very little… her KD is .07 but she did achieve a triple kill with the mongoose… granted almost every kill she has was while using the mongoose because that’s all she used when she actually does plays.

I’ve got at least 2 splatters with it against undamaged enemies, so it can.
It can definately splatter as an unfortunate team mate of mine found out.It just cant splatter when I want it to.I didnt know you could man cannon with it,I gonna have to give that a whirl.
The mongoose is awesome! If you can use it and have a gunner and you time it right you can take out the tank and mantis. YOu can kill a ghost if someone on the back got the SAW and so on. You can jump with it, leave it and shoot it at someone to kill him. You can overrun them and get their shield down. You can splatter easier with it when you have another person on the back.

That why Mongoose Mowdown was a difficult achievement. Because the mongoose has no business splattering.

Aww man! I wish I would’ve seen this BEFORE I bought my new 2013 UNSC Mongoose SS! It had 0% financing for 60 months, no family-debt-transfer if I die while in combat (which is a really important offer to me, since GAP and life + disability insurance have’t been available for what, like 14 years?) and I really liked how quick it was.
Plus, ever since Forerunner bought out the entry level Covenant brand (Covie) and acquired the rights to the Ghost, it just hasn’t been the same. I heard the Intergalactic Transportation Association made them put a Speed/Boost Limiter on the 2012-13 Ghost models- even the XR-777! How lame. I still test drove one, but even hitting full speed with the Boost Pedal pushed to the floor wasn’t all that impressive.
Guess next time I’ll just have to lease… I hear the 2015 Covenant Banshee GTR is going to be sick! That is, assuming they can stay in business, AND the Elite Zealot Union doesn’t go on strike again; they’re so needy!
