Games Halo 5: Guardians

One time, I brought a ghost inside the Temple to grab some splatter kills. An invisible elite hijacked it almost immediately entering the Temple, killing me in the process.

I once had to switch loadout weapons, so I ran to a REQ station in our armory. While scrolling for countless seconds I was assassinated for taking too long.

I once spawned and immediately was splattered by a teammate.

I once spawned behind the fortress, near a Promethean boss and was killed by its incineration cannon.

I was once two shot killed by a soldier with a Boltshot equipped. With 30 seconds left in Warzone Firefight close to beating the last boss. We lost.

A Teammate jumped off the spire and landed on my wraith, killing him. And booting me from the game.

I was once close to killing a boss. The boss killed me, and forced me to spawn at our core. I was too late. Right around the corner, my teammates killed it.

I once spawned a scorpion, as soon as I left our core’s shields, an enemy jumped on from behind and planted a grenade.

I once ran to the second level of our armory to get a better shot at the banshee raiders. As soon as I stepped out, one of the banshees fired an explosive at me, killing me.

I once spawned a scorpion in Warzone Firefight, a banshee killed me with one explosive. (It was brand new.)

I once spawned a warthog alone. I saw an enemy and switched seats. He killed me with his BR before I could take control of the turret.

I once used a River of Light. I underestimated its ability and the continuous shots killed me as they hit the wall lin front of me. Brand new.

I once got boarded by an enemy while in a scorpion. My teammate saw this and let it happen.

I once plasma pistoled a Mantis to board it, a sniper killed me as soon as I held down X.

I once powered through a losing Warzone match against a full fireteam (score 200 vs 1000) for a gold pack.
All I got was a weird looking Helmet and a wolf emblem. The best weapon in the pack was a River of Light.

I once was about to kill an enemy with a sword in the map, Raid On Apex 7. I forgot about the ground you can run into behind the beach shore, the swing missed and he killed me.

The moments that anger me?

Seeing all of the moa dropping armour skins, or any other armour skin (since they’re all hideous.

Seeing somebody wearing 343i’s ugly armour designs, like Seeker, Breaker, Jumpmaster or Goblin.

Seeing the bland, white UNSC buildings that look like utter crap.

Unlocking for the 4th time an ugly skin variant of an ugly armour when I just want to unlock Jun’s armour.

Not being able to wear the Vigilant helmet with my Wrath armour, because the primary colours just don’t match up because 343i decided to give a big middle finger to people who don’t want to wear complete sets.

Not being able to use any other primary colour but black, because if I do, my super sport player (not a super soldier, because 343i also thought that was a great idea) will look like a blob of orange. Or blue. Or red. Or whatever, because clearly nobody wants black undersuits.

As you can tell, I very highly dislike 343i’s artistic approach with the Halo franchise.

The only thing i dislike these days is when assassinations start and then don’t follow through. The camera zooms back, The assassination starts and suddenly the enemy Spartan is released, knows you’re behind him and is emptying his assault rifle into you.

-When I call in a brand new Splaser to deal with Deacon Pipap on Apex 7 and get killed by his needles before even lining up my reticle.
-When I call in a brand new Banshee to deal with Deacon Pipap on Apex 7 and get killed by his needles before even firing a shot.
-When I call in a brand new Wraith to protect the Forerunner cores from the Covenant on A.R.C. and I get shot out of it by a Phantom gunner.
-When I call in a brand new Ghost Ultra to kill some Knights on any map and an Incineration Cannon barely grazes a wingtip and my Ghost Ultra explodes.
-When I call in a brand new tank (Scorpion or Wraith, doesn’t really matter) to kill the Warden on any map and I get stuck in front of my teammates eternally getting EMPed by the Warden’s face laser.

One time I spawned a wasp on March on Stormbreak. I was hovering over the edge of the map being a sentinel of sorts, and a grunt EMP’d me and I fell off the map and my wasp was destroyed.

One time one of the four hunters in the final level of WZFF spawned on top of the base.

Every time I use uncommon or rare random vehicles I get a variant of the gungoose.

Here are mine, playing on molten that map is terrible no matter what you’re getting spawn killed or spawning right next to enemies, an i also hate when you’re teammates quit on you an when you lose even if you did good you still go down in ranking. An i also hate how the halo community is dying, like everyone uses to have a mic an talk an do callouts but now its nothing. An last but not least campers. I can’t stand people that camp with power weapons like shotguns an sword. There’s like no way to stop it. 343 there’s a lot of work that needs done. Overall though i like how even when people lose they won’t be -Yoinks!- to you when you say good game.

The moment when you are about to kill a hunter and the little scumbag decides to 180 turn around melee you with no chance to react.
The moment when a hunter melees you from 10 feet away and he misses but he still kills you.

Everytime I load up Halo 5, 'nuff said.

Halo 5 can be a very frustrating game. Honestly, I never got as angry as I do playing Halo 5 in any other Halo game. I think I get the most angry when I call in an amazing weapon in Warzone, then get immediately killed.

There’s also:
-Deacon Pipap spawns on Apex 7 in WZFF
-I go to Urban in WZFF
-Banshee Raiders spawn on Apex 7 in WZFF
-The enemy team somehow gets a boss kill despite never even being there to shoot it.
-A slightly worn Sword Wraith with Wheelman gets killed in seconds by LightRifle fire in WZFF
-Game crashes while I’m performing relatively well in a match
-Round 5 30 second respawn timer.

Moments that anger me:

  • Spending REQ energy on a power weapon that I really want to use, only to die afterwards and have a teammate scoop it up. - Fighting 4 Swarmlord Hunters in Round 5, after dealing with two other tough bosses. - Every time Warden Eternal makes an appearance. - Running a corner and getting swarmed by Crawlers - Getting out of a High-REQ vehicle to pick up a fallen power weapon, then turning around and seeing a team member drive off with it. - Trying to assassinate a elite or soldier, but getting an assist medal because a teammate decides to kill it.

Trying to finish warden eternal commendation through assassinating him only for some teammate to shoot him with tank at last second.

Getting Spartan Charged around a corner without being able to see the guy coming in time because the radar sucks -Yoink- through a straw.

Looking at a cool armor that has 343i’s signature “we need to find some way to ruin this” marks, like all the white markings.

I don’t get angry at games. Getting angry at a video game means you have no self control.

Coming up behind a player for the melee kill and hitting them, watching them turn and sprint melee me to death.

Back of the head should be dead. Love it when it just doesn’t work.
