Just in general, Honestly. I’m just going to put it this way:
Some people are stupid, and need to be told they are.

they seem alright to me, you just need to be clearer with your posts so they can understand the intetions otherwise its a guess …

Not the best way to start off posting. The mods are only trying to keep control of Waypoint and whether you think someone is stupid or something they say is stupid, there are better ways to tell them than just flaming them. I’ve talked to many of the mods and they are very understanding people. If you break the rules, the will lock threads and edit your posts. Just be kind and constructive with your posts and you won’t run into this problem.
From what I can tell, the mods do a fantastic job keeping this place ship-shape. You’re correct, OP, some people are indeed stupid, however there’s other ways to let them get the picture without breaking the forum rules and guidelines.
If you have a problem with one of the mods, feel free to contact any of them. They’re usually pretty prompt with adequate responses.
This is supposedly your first post, but you’re already complaining about the mods being “too strict”? I smell an alt…
You want to know the reason why the mods don’t allow a spark of flaming? Because the game forums have historically been flamefests. If you’ve seen the Reach forum at bungie.net in its heyday, I’m sure you know what I mean. By firmly establishing that they will not tolerate such behavior, hopefully disscussions will be more constructive, or at the very least somewhat civilized.

Welcome to the internet, where things like these are a constant struggle. There is no need to call anyone out, since it’s against the rules and will subsequently get you banned. Then you’ll be mad at even more people further perpetuating your anger.
How about YOU loosen up and let it go so we don’t have to make you.

…no need to accuse.

no. multiple emails, 2 or 3 with GTs.

The only thing I really think Mods should lighten up on, is the word filter, but that’s me, other than that, it’s every one else who needs to take a Texas sized chill pill. Flaming of any kind isn’t always the way to make your self look bad. Flaming someone makes your self look less cool than you think you are. You could be the coolest guy in the world, but as soon as you flame someone because of his/her stats, race, beliefs, place of origin, likes, dislikes, age, or rather they agree with you, you go from the coolest person on the net, to a Male Donkey in a hole, with a dunce cap on.

Whatcha mean, “the word filter”…? Are there words in there you feel shouldn’t be?

comment based off of experience, trolls will create multiple email adresses so when they get banned they can just clear cookies and cache and log on under a different email adress to continue trolling.
if its just a few then thats acceptable, different emails for different things and such …

oh, when i read multiple i was thinking more 5+ …
343 moderators are fine, compared to bnet …they are saints…be happy about that
The mods do a wonderful job of informing people when they have crossed the stupid-line.
Other posters need to word their opinion within the confines of the rules/terms of use that they said “OK” to when signing up to post.

Thank you for sharing your expertise on the matter, however the gist of my statement seemed to be missed.
There is no need to accuse someone of being a troll without any just cause.

Please don’t do that, that’s against the rules here.

just cause being so that other people don’t get fooled to prevent a raging flame war.
though, that bviously isn’t happening and if anyone is going to be starting one currently, it looks most likely to be me so i’ll be quiet.
