I miss my Spade. I tended to wear it in all the other games, but alas, no card-based symbols at all. No diamonds, hearts, clubs, or spades. I want to wear a Black Spade, but alas, no.
The 0-9 numbers would be nice to have back, the rose was one of my favorites too. I haven’t checked to see if they have the heart but if they don’t then that would be nice as well. Last of all I miss the 4 corners background they had in Halo 3, I used to love it. The four corners in combo with the runes was definitely my favorite combo but 343 left out so many emblems. -_-
I miss the Seventh Column, which obviously won’t happen because that was Bungie’s thing.
I like how it could be toggled into nothing, so I could just have the Cross as the background and make the Swedish flag. This is because my Service-Tag is SEPT standing for September a Swedish singer I am a big fan of.
Also on a sidenote, anybody have any good ‘female’ feel Emblem combos because my Spartan is and always has been female and I want the Emblem to fit this is and my reason for SEPT (September is a female singer – and like 75% of the music I listen to are female singers and yes I am a guy).
Are there any emblems that can toggle to be blank?
> Well… I would like the Mark of Shame back, i really loved that one.
Oh wow, I TOTALLY forgot about that! I voted “NO” in the poll above, because I still have my emblem from Reach, but I didn’t even think about the fact that the Mark of Shame was my original emblem prior to Reach! DOH!
Also, while I don’t have proof or anything like that, I do believe that there are hidden emblems in Halo 4, and I’d assume that they are tied to various Glyph Codes, Achievements, Commendations, etc. I’m pretty sure that there are already examples of all of these things. But who knows which ones are still hidden?
@Jason Dark x2 - Again, while I don’t have any proof, but based on the information I’ve seen, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Phoenix Emblem is in Halo 4 in some kind of way. I could be terribly wrong, of course, but I’ve found enough references to a phoenix, a phoenix rising from the ashes, or a phoenix (re)born from flame, that I think it’s actually pretty plausible.
