The Microtransaction/DLC wishlist......

I don’t care what most of you people think, but I’m excited for the upcoming Microtransactions/DLC.

inb4: “U r spinding ur mommiez monies on teh gaem!” No. I am a working adult.

Anyway, here’s what I’d like to see:

  1. An all black skin for the Battle Rifle akin to Halo 2 & 3.

  2. Certain weapons from the previous games, AESTHETICALLY; meaning they have the same exact performance as the existing weapons, they however, just look different:

The Halo 2 Pistol
and the Plasma Rifle

  1. More Armor. From Halo: Reach, 3, and maybe the guys from Wars

  2. Oh, yeah. Almost forgot. An all BTIS Map Pack with strictly Human vehicles, is it really that hard?

That’s all I can really come up with for now, but i guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

if Halo 4 gets Micro-transaction , Then i be soooo forward looking for the different weapon skins/armor!

If anything, i would enjoy a skin for a lightrifle. And if they were to bring back anything aesthetically, a brute shot. If we are discussing classic halo, then the shotgun could do with a new look.

Those have always been my favorites, felt like my nards got a kick when I realized they weren’t in 4.

I would like to see some realistic armour skins, like the camouflaged HAZOP armour that you received if you bought the game from Gamestop.
Also some plainly skinned armour, that won’t have your secondary colour highlighted across all edges and wiped along the flat panels.

I want security armor and Hayabusa. As for weapons more BR,AR and pistol skins.

Mark V, the fact it isn’t in halo 4 to begin with is honestly an insult

  1. New camos for loadout weapons

  2. New armors (from older games and new armor in general)

  3. Possibly new Forge pieces to work with (blocks, buildings, natural, gadgets, everything basically)

  4. More stances for Player Card (if possible)

Not at all supporting microtransactions, that content should have been in expansions, or atleast an unlockable, not pay-real-money items.

Sorry guys for stopping your creativity but they can’t add New armor or Skins because of the Way the hardcode of the Game is written: All armor variants and skins are skripted into each Map so if you want New skins or so what the only possible solution would be to download all MM and SO Maps again and I don’t believe they do something like that, so no Hope for New Things :confused:

I would Love it when they change the Code structure in Halo 5 like in other Games so that they can add New Things in Halo 5…

Wait, what? So, what you’re saying is that the existing skins for the BR, AR, DMR, etc. are part of the maps? That makes NO sense. You be trollin’ brudda!

Look at Black Ops II or Battlefield 3. BO II being a great example. You bought the skins packs and put them on your gun. Done. No re-downloading maps or any of that mumbo jumbo. I seriously don’t know where you got this idea, but please don’t come on a thread trying to diminish it. Kthnxbai.

Personally, of they were to pull off the whole multi-store dlc exclusive thing again, I’d like for them to be available on Xbox live sooner.

I’m not going to be able to find the source but Frankie confirmed that Halo 4 will not be making use of microtransactions. With that said I’m sure Halo 5 will receive them. I honestly don’t think it’s a bad idea as long as we get as much armor as we did in Halo 4 to unlock. Gears of War is really a good example of how not to do micro-transactions. That launched with say 75% of it’s skins being purchaseable… That is just straight money grabbin…
