It is undeniable that the main menu in a game is a very important part of the game. No matter how you play, you always end up there when you boot up. You want to hear something very nice and enjoyable. 343i did a good job, this is a Halo menu alright. Compared to the repetitiveness and bland guitars of Reach’s menu, this is amazing.

Ideally, they’ll release the complete score sometime in the future, but I doubt it’ll happen.

Repetitiveness of Reach? I don’t even remember music playing in Reach menu, except the drums in the intro which is quickly skipped. I rather like the Halo 3 Mythic disc menu music, though.

Reach had atrocious and obnoxious menu music. Halo 3 Mythic was great.

I’d definitely buy it if they do, there’s no such thing as too much Halo music.

I actually went back to the H3 mythic disc and listened to the music for a bit love it, and it reminds me how awesome bungie’s music was, the H2 drop pod music was supremely awesome, and i remember it over most others to this day, and while at it looked at bungie’s flood/forerunner maps, cold storage (shrugs) I had to put on a lighting affect that made it super weird and scary… god the monitor >_<

I’d buy it too! Thanks for uploading the menu music to YouTube.
