Also why are you referencing e-sports like melee breaks it? Halo has been this way for decades and esports has always been fine with the melee. You’re just coming up with asinine arguments cause you don’t know what you’re doing.

Melee is like a third of non-vehicle combat in Halo. It doesn’t need a nerf. Speaking as someone who plays more than one FPS, Halo’s CQC is one of the things that sets it apart from the rest. No need to change one of the defining pillars of a franchise, just to make it more like everything else.
The powerful melee is a hallmark of the Halo series and should not be changed. It is as it always has been. This post seems to be from someone who has never played Halo before and does not understand the game.
