The "MELEE-HIT" should be nerfed as soon as possible

Why? You can’t hit headshots?
Double melee should be something you have to work to pull off, not a panic button response to someone getting the drop on you close range. Meta for hitting a melee should not be another melee.
Being able to shoot faster after melee might be okay but right now, double melee is too easy to do and too good.

Yes, when one makes a PRODUCT, he must seek EXCELLENCE and set himself as a TOP I want 100M users in HALO-INFINITE.

If necessary, modes should be “included” in INFINITE of those games that have 70M daily users and you have to seek total excellence in your Shooter. Looking for mediocrity and seeing if my little game reaches 500k of active people is not an option for MICROSOFT and I jump to 343.

Which game has 70M DAUs? You pulled that number out of your rear. None of them do or even CLOSE to that number (unless you consider whole integer multiples to be close). Best I could find was fortnite which is several times lower.

Halo is an ARENA-FPS is not inventing a new “GENRE” many of his weapons were based on unreal tournament

Overwatch, apex-arenas and Halo all 3 are Arenas-FPS

All 3 play differently. Sure, at the end of the day, click button, shoot gun, get kill. If you want to look at it like that, lets throw CoD, Battlefield, Titanfall, the old Medal of Honor games, Counter-Strike, literally any FPS game that has any kind of deathmatch mode into the same category. All of them have small maps, so lets just call all of them arena-fps games and disregard anything and everything else about them.

Overwatch is a team oriented FPS with a focus on objective game modes and characters with preset abilities that can change the outcome of matches quickly if coordinated properly.

Apex is a battle royale that also has characters with preset abilities and all the randomness that comes with battle royale games.

CoD has a mix of all kinds of game modes and is probably the only thing that comes close to being an actual arena fps given the faster pace especially on smaller maps. It throws its own twist on it with kill/scorestreaks.

BF has had gamemodes that focused more on squad gameplay like TDM and Domination type modes on smaller maps, but outside of that, it’s battlefield. Gigantic maps, bigger vehicle presence, and a larger picture in terms of objectives and such.

Titanfall is literally halo with mechs, wallrunning, and double jumps. Oh, and 1 hit melees.

The old MoH games, specifically Allied Assault, had tons of small maps and TDM/FFA/Objective modes.

At no point did I say Halo was or had invented a new genre, and just about every gun in every video game is based off of or inspired by something else. I’m not sure what that has to do with you thinking that melee in this game is broken. You must not have played the flight back at the end of September if you think it’s broken now, people were able to melee instantly with a reload glitch that has since been fixed. At no other point have I seen 1 hit melee in a Halo game, obviously disregarding assassinations.

Ah not that the mele hit does 500 damage this “Good” is the spirit of HALO with that it will make shroud, all the pros of apex, valorant and CoD-Warzone leave their teams with millionaire salaries to come to "invest time and use melee hit one shot " makes sense

I’m sorry my friend but I highly disagree with this notion. This is Halo. This is how Halo is played. 343 have been struggling for years to appease the Halo community. Only recently with infinite have they actually got the closest to this. To change this would upset the community. They don’t want that. Shoot, the melee used to be more magnetic. I miss my melees much more in this halo than any other.

I can guarantee he doesn’t. He joined waypoint 4 days ago. I guarantee you he has never played a single Halo game except for infinite and he only did it cuz a YouTuber told him to. He’s lying about other games numbers and comparing it to games that aren’t even the same genre. I’d bet my paycheck this is an actual child who thinks he can impress the big boys and is failing miserably.

The Melee is an important part of the sandbox, for gameplay and immersion reasons.

Immersion :
You are a Spartan Super Soldier, the peak of humanity geared up in Power armor so powerful that normal humans will tear themselves apart using it. You can flip tanks, flip planes, flip cars. Your punch being able to straight up kill unshielded enemies is a given.

Gameplay :
The Halo combat triangle is this : Melee x Gunplay x Grenades.
They work in tandem to keep the arena shooter style alive. If Melee is significantly nerfed, it will cause serious gameplay issues and changes which will destroy the Halo arena shooter playstyle.

Melee also serves as a way to fight back if your target closes on you and you have emptied your clip. Remember, Halo is a game with Shields, so all players are much more durable than in other games. If faced in a 2v1 or 3v1, your melee is part of your arsenal to turn things around.
