The "MELEE-HIT" should be nerfed as soon as possible

The hit of “MELEE” should be nerfed as soon as possible.

It is a MELEE HIT not a GEARS GNASHER. This “mechanic” breaks with gun-play and rewards "bad-play". It is ridiculous that a blow goes down more than a GNASHER without asking for anything in “EXCHANGE”, no aim, nomechanicals, NOTHING.

Umm…what?! Maybe it’s just me, but you’re not making much sense and I think by “Mele” you mean Melee (as in hitting someone)?

Fixed and yes is very important they reduce the melee-hit damage. is OP as hell

Ask me how I know you’ve literally never so much as looked at a Halo game before.

You beat me too it…well mine would have been not as… blunt.

I think it is fine as is, what are you SPECIFC reasons on why you want it to be reduced. In CTF and Oddball, the melee needs to be a one hit kill in my opinion, but in general gameplay I happy with it (as I’ve have been for quite some time).

Melee pretty much makes up most combat in halo if you don’t have a precision weapon, not sure why it really needs changing when it’s been the same way for 20 years.

I think melee should either have increased knockback or more time between. Double melee shouldn’t be a viable tactic, meta for melee-starts should be to pull off a headshot. Not a second melee.

Melee is fine. This has been part of the halo game in forever. Does not need to be changed. It is not broken.

Always been part of Halo. 2 melee hits to kill is very, very normal.

Well

The Melee hit, it would have to be a tool for support if you are close or you run out of ammunition, just as it is in “OVERWATCH” and “APEX”. Never but never must do the damage of a SHOTGUN.

Even the SHOTGUN rewards you less than the mele hit because you have to aim to do a lot of Close damage. But the BLOW is crazy, if they want the “Pros” to take INFINITE seriously they will have to do something

I repeat, Overwatch and apex knew how to implement this mechanic correctly, it is a Support only, not a DAM HAND-CANNON.

Not is not FINE that promotes the “Scruby-Noob” playstyle

Well, Halo have augmented super solders…so just saying.
Smash through concrete pillars, hit a not so small Elite to a wall and kill him, Spartan are pretty strong.

Welcome to Halo I guess.

I feel that you are getting upset with a feature that has been in the halo game for over 12-15 years. This is not overwatch or apex.

Also, if you melee someone from behind, you assassinate them (1 shot).

Or there’s this move called “Ninja” where you jump and turn around to hit someone’s back.

This is just part of the game.

EDIT: Also, you can melee someone once to lower their shields and then shot them. If you have a BR, usually if you shot them in the head after lowering shields, this will kill them.

You just gotta plan for it. Sometimes the game seems fast-paced and unfair, but players are doing something you’re able to do.

You’ve got to manage your distancing throughout your engagements if you don’t like getting beat down.

If you are losing an engagement and have less than 1 melee worth of health left, you need to manage your distance with your opponents. As your engagements evolve, you’ll want to manage how close/far you are based on your health difference with your opponent and how much health they have compared to melee damage. It becomes a constant back-and-forth approach and distancing effort.

Even if the game was 500 years old, it is not healthy for a GUN-PLAY FPS to have such a broken mechanics.

In overwatch the characters have 200 hp and blows drop 30 damage. This “balanced” is a support tool

In the apex arenas the characters have 100 HP and the blows drop 30 damage is balanced

I repeat, leaving the MELE so exaggerated breaks the gun-play and that doesn’t feel “nice”. You play HALO to shoot, not to go around dealing punches like a boxer

If you want the style to be like “overwatch” & “Apex,” then go play them. Halo has its own style that it practically made its own, 2 hit melee is a part of that style and changing it too your taste will practically cause an uproar in the Halo Community (not a pleasant thing to see).

There’s an energy sword and a gravity hammer I think, which are melee weapons. There’s Oddball, which is a skull and it can be used as a melee weapon. The flag can be used as a melee weapon…

The immense popularity of Halo while having the same melee mechanics for almost two decades would seem to suggest otherwise.

Melee has always been a two-hit kill in Halo since the beginning. If your shields are low, it’s a one-shot.
