Why are skulls used for multipliers/modifiers? Who’s remains are they?
If we’re getting technical with why it’s for adding a tiny bit of a challenge to pure pain if you want that, and technical for the skulls it’s pretty cool to just find a skull that gives you a bonus plus it’s well you know a skull. Now for a far out there explanation I’m going with forerunners left those behind for a certain green mean fighting machine to find and mess with, and as for why skulls, well Forerunners did fight humans so augmented special spooky skulls makes since as collectibles after that war
