Gents and Ladies relax the MCC will be fine. Remember this is the only place to play Halo CE and Halo 2 online on XBL. Many of you are worried because of Halo 3 going BC that the MCC will be dead it won’t be. I just got back from work and I’m seeing many friends actually thinking of coming back to the MCC for the first time in months or a year for this exact reason. If no ones believed me look at my friends list 700 plus people and there all pretty much Classic Halo fans. Hope to see you CE and 2 lovers on the battlefield this weekend

All these games were still playable on the Xbox 360 for the entire time MCC was out. Everyone that had a copy of the old games and wanted to play them could already do so. Making them BC doesn’t change anything.
MCC will be just fine. Count may be somewhat lower but the game will never be killed off.

If people didn’t have a 360 anymore then they wouldn’t be able to play those games,now they can

Why would you get rid of your 360 but keep your games?
In broad strokes, I don’t think there are gobs of MCC players that don’t already have the means to play the old games that but had been actively choosing to play MCC instead, but will now change their mind now that the games are BC. It doesn’t make any sense.

I agree. I could never sell my old systems. Even though back in 2013 and 2014 it was tempting when GameStop gave you extra credit to trade your 360 towards a One I still declined. Look at the all the games that aren’t BC yet. If you sell an old system unless your games are BC there just paperweights. I had a buddy a month ago that had the itch to play Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 but he can’t because he sold his OG Xbox and his 360.

While I did keep my 360,I didn’t go back to it to play the older games.Which is why if people did keep their games and sold their systems it would be perfect for times like now because the popular games are becoming bc

Not to be rude, but do you read messages? I had already answered myself… thanks anyway
MCC will be fine, I’m sure. I’m hoping that the H3 population decreases and can actually play 2v2 or Team Hardcore without H3 winning the vote all the time. I’ve stayed away from 2v2 and HC because of H3 winning the vote all the time. I haven’t played 2v2 or HC since that very last October 2015 update before H5 came out. It gets old playing H2C all the time, but it is my main thing to play. I don’t mind changing it up every now & then by switching to H1. H2A. or H4. Those I can handle. It’s really H3 that takes the fun out of 2v2 or HC for me. Not an H3 hater. It just was not my preferred type of Halo.
The population of MCC may decrease due to Halo 3 being backwards compatible right now on Xbox One but at least Halo CE, 2 and 4 (yes I said 4) have more chances of being picked on the voting selection on “multi-games” playlists. I lost count how many times Halo 3 was voted on BTB and I can’t bear the ratio of Halo 3 to CE, 2 and 4 I just wanted to play some Halo CE, 2 and 4 BTB.
I’m mainly happy that ODST is BC now, firefight anyone?

Yea they both get into games pretty quick but so far in H3 I have had nothing but lag except for a few games.
