There is most likely someone else who has already made a similar topic like this before, but I searched and could not find one.
So, I finally hit the max rank. After just two months. And there are a lot of people who just needed one month or maybe even less because of the double exp etc etc. If this was Halo 3 or Reach, I would be about halfway through now. But after just two months of 1000+ multiplayer games, only 50% of the commendations complete and I’m already at the level cap?
I disagree with the community on one thing, and that is that the multiplayer is broken. I think the multiplayer is just fine, maybe not as good as Halo 3 or even Reach, but good. There are some problems like few (and way too small) maps but with the upcoming DLC packs we get 6 more maps. Although, there is something wrong if a big part of your community has already reached the maximum rank and has lost interest in your game after two months on the market.
I guess I only wrote this topic to ask this forum if there is anyone who knows if there are any plans to raise the max rank, like Bungie did with Halo: Reach? Feels strange to put down a Halo game after only 2 months, because I’m already “done” with it…
So you’re finished with H4 just because you’ve reached the max rank ? You’re doing it wrong.

Nuff said
Like you stated in your post , you haven’t completed all your commendations … So how are you done with Halo ? Plus isn’t CSR coming soon as well? Be Patient!
I’m 130 and I’m still having fun; trying to get a clean service record, forging (even though forge went downhill, it’s still decent), playing customs, getting the last achievements, completing Commendations, and just having a good time.
Friends and Spartan Ops keep me playing more.
You aren’t done when you hit the max rank. You’re done when the game isn’t fun anymore. Was leveling up your take on fun?
I’m happy about the easy max rank because now I can do whatever I want with the game now without somebody getting mad at me.
Does it really matter? All it shows is how much you play the game.
Everybody chill out. No, I mean that you don’t have anything more to strive towards. And no, leveling is definitely not the point of playing games. If you read it correctly I wrote it “done” not done. I’m a huge fan of the Halo-franchise and Halo 3 is still awesome to play today, but what I’m saying is that Halo 4 lacks big maps and variation. I can’t be the only one feeling that Halo 4 is missing something?
I don’t think it’s that fun playing Exile over and over again on Dominion, Haven over and over on Oddball etc. Sure, I love Grifball, so that’s gonna make me play it for a while. But leveling is a part of the game and I think it’s fun to have the max rank to strive towards. But I would have liked it more I hadn’t been done with so much already…
If there’s about only 20k playing your game each day, then surely something is missing? I like Halo 4. A lot. But it was not as good as Halo 3 or Halo: Reach. And yes, I will admit it. I am getting a little tired of Halo 4, but not because of the max rank, but because, as I stated above, the game lacks variation. Am I such a bad guy for thinking this? Am I not a true Halo-fan? Come on!

yeah i was pretty ‘obsessed’ with rank up until like sr-50, i stopped caring about it shortly after. now i come back every day just because i enjoy it.
hell, i played like 15 games at sr-70 not realizing i needed to select another specialization after getting to 70. i didn’t even care, just selected another specialization and kept playing as usual.
I really enjoyed the H3, you have to be a 30 to get a major, or 50 to be a general, that was fun because it forced you to increase skill (level in ranked) as well as experience (playing games in social or ranked)

Not till april young fellow.
You, good sir, need a life.
Seriously though, how do you hit it in two months?
