did anyone think that they couldn’t top MC flying a bomb into a passing covenant ship in halo 2?
they did. MC is so BA in this game. he makes the new spartans look like kids that got into daddy’s gun locker. OMG…
in all the other games there was like, 1 real BA scene that let you know whats up when it came to the Chief, but he effed it up through the whole game in 4! that was pretty cool.
halo 5? lets see the master chief choke a B. i wanna see him kick an elite’s head off. maybe tear ones arms out of their sockets.
does anyone have any ideas on some BA stuff they’d like to see from the Chief?

Chief didn’t do anything special in this game other than planting a grenade on Didact’s person (and no I’m not hating on that. I actually appreciate it though I’d still like to have a mini-boss coughlike a Promethean Knight Generalcough).
If they had at least shown him rampaging through that Lich (I don’t care if that would have distracted from the story), this game would have had a decent BA moment.
i thought he was pretty BA. he fell from space, the whole jumping off of crap as the didact left requiem(its been a minute since i played the WHOLE campaign, if i jack up what mission something was on, forgive me). telling the captain of the infinity to piss off, chasing the didact himself and saving the universe?
the end was kinda weak. i was thinking, aw -Yoink-, this boss battle is gonna be sick, and then what happens? hit RB or whatever and its over? bummer…
now that i think of it, a lot of it was replicated. the fall from space, the leap of faith kinda reminding me of halo 2 or MC bailing on the banshee in halo.
but MC was conveyed as a BA i suppose more than anything. not necessarily in any one act, but in every act he was like,“here I am, MC off to eff stuff up”
he felt more like a one man army, what with deciding to kick A all by himself and hopping in the pelican. and watching the spartanIV’s run amok on the battlefield, getting their butts kicked while master chief showed them how its done.
so yeah, not any one scene that was super BA in halo 4, just a collection of them that made you say,“damn, chief is getting stuff done.” plus, chief gets a lot done, and pretty much solo. as if he needed any help from infinity. pfft.

The Chief is not a BA i am with out me the Chief would have done none of these things he would have just stood still not moving after being awoken from cryo and the rings would still be around until this day with out me nothing would have happened.

yeah, the didact’s kinda bad -Yoink- tho. chief still beat him, didn’t he? and man was he pressing buttons like crazy.
“look, i can see my hand really good!” there were buttons galore, like, 4 per mission minimum? i’m surprised you didn’t have to push buttons during the opening vid with halsey being questioned by some shadowy feller. that would have made it a much better title, especially with that being the first thing everyone saw. “yeah, hit x now or this guy in the shadows is gonna snap her neck and the game just ends!” “dodge this guys interogation tactics with an x,a,y combo and break his wrist, now you’re a real prisoner!”
i did like watching the chief kick that big -Yoinking!- thing for the weapons system in the first ACTUAL mission. like kicking a freight car.
some of cortana and chiefs lines were pretty lame, they’re little love story, but appropriate. it made sense, though it bordered on cheesy and almost crossed over a few times. any dude runnin round a few years with a female AI in his Fing brain would probably become a little attached. not to mention MC is a little messed up, being he was a soldier at age 6.
this is all just for fun conversation and some of you guys are hilarious. there be some really good material on some of these forums. even the trash talk is hilarious. halo fans are the best…

the line ‘ive waited so long to do that’ after touching him…totally wrecked it for me. crossed the line and was waiting for the cheesy bow chicka wow wow music to start.
Maybe the chief did die from the nuke and its actually the Didact disguised as him in his suit and we just don’t know yet that’s why his eyes are black at the end of the game lol.
i thought MC falling from the sky in the 3rd was cool. i forgot that was the first. then in reach with noble 6, then again with chief in 4. but yes, the halo 2 giving back the bomb was probably the single greatest. it was the biggest BA scene as far as nothing he did prior came anywhere close, and n e thing he does after is still comparable. MC’s career is just one big stretch of BA though. its not like he ever says,“look guys, i was so way too bad -Yoink- in the last one that i’m going to tone it down a bit. a cup of tea, some candles burning and some hardcore needlework. gonna embroider my name into the back of this covies head.”

Master Chief wouldn’t be able to tear a Elite’s head off , do you know how strong they are , Go read Halo First Strike in that book MC has a fight with a Elite and is forced to eject him from the ship otherwise there fighting would never end
